Your review section is tainted

I go to your review section and as usual I find people with $500 or more invested into high end guns rating guns like the BE Avenger. Now no where in their info does it say they have actually used the gun, they just know its garbage for some reason. I have used many BE guns, and your ratings are not correct, although I must admit the BE Samurai is a real laugh though deserveres its 2.6/10.

Of course the reviews are tainted. Look at the age poll and you will see why. No offense, i know many young teens and play with them and I would trust their judgement on many thing paintball related. I also know a vast majority of ppl in this age range tend to diss all guns but thier own and get rather emotional. And some who are down right a--holes. All this applies in a lesser degree to adults as well but most have been force to be able to be objective by real life.

I ment no offense magnus. This is far and away the best paintball forum and review site ever! BTW just so someone knows I like the new review form alot better. Peeps can still lie on it but no one can stop that. The extra facts about review poster helps with creditabality. Way to go.

Ok, a person can take a small 10 question test before reviewing, kinda tough stuff about markers, not paintball. Like, what is a cup seal, what does ASA stand for, what is sear (those are a little easy) but that person gets a little star or grade near their name when they review. That shows the person knows what they are talking about. Can you do something like that?

No I didn't take it as an insult of any sort. There are just some idiots who think it's fun to mislead and confuse people who are legitimately interested in purchasing paintball equipment. They take advantage of the anonymous nature of the reviews. But don't worry, soon we'll be implementing a process to fix all that. :)

I'm not against brass eagle in any way. They allow new players who aren't sure if they'll like it or not a chance to own their own gun extremely inexpensively. I think alot of the people on here are experienced players who have moved up from the entry level and are writing the reviews out of their own experience.
I dont care what kinda gun someone is playing with. Give some spoiled lil brat an angel or excalibur and give me a talon.
Chances are the lil brat is gonna get his head handed to him.
Player makes the gun, gun dont make the player.
Granted there are people who play by laying down copious ammounts of paint and manage to get kills. Lay down a case of paint in under a minute, damn right your gonna hit someone.
Markers help, but they dont make the player.
Read between the lines.
90% of equipment reviews i see, be it in paintball, drag racing, or anywhere else are 25% useful data, 75% usless bull$#!7.

I've used a lot of BE guns and put on a review. most were 2, 3, or 1. (some people say that it's a rumor that BE guns suck. It's not.)

I'm afraid I have to second Flleg. The only good BE gun I ever used was a rainmaker. I've shot talons, Stingray IIs, Samurais.......I'm sorry, they ARE abysmal.

:pissed: LOOK, Some ****ing people are just idiots with there heads up there ***. I think that some Brass Eagles are pretty good guns, infact some are great like the Tigershark and the Rainmaker. I have a Tigershark, and I take out guys with autocokers and spyders all the time. I am probly going to get a Rainmaker and go play in tournements. i have shot a few BE's and lets face it i prefer most other guns some of the BE's arnt bad (tigershark,stingray) mostly there higher end guns are related to spyders and what not i think that the BE blade is the worst pball gun ever made!!! it sucks full plastic and man i could go on but others are not that bad just try before you buy a BE (also BE is the best for on buget people just no BLADE!!!!)

ok, ive shot EVERY BE paintball gun from the blade to the Rainmaker, even the VL series guns. and face it guys, BE is not a good quality paintball company. I'm not just saying this cause of BE's name, its from experience. take any BE gun, and i can almost always find a better gun for a better price. and for tigershark16, why buy a rainmaker. you cant really upgrade it cause aftermarket companys know that it would be a waist of time. by the time you got a rainmaker to be a good quality/performing gun, you could have bought yourself a Matrix, Impulse, Angel, Cocker, Timmy, Shocker, mag, Bushy, you name it. face it guys, BE makes the worst quality/performing markers out there with few exceptions
