Read the box it generally has good info.
1. Store in a dry warm location (60-70 Degrees Farenheit)
2. Layer paintballs so there is no more then 5-6 layers (keeps pressure off one point of the ball)
3. Gently stir or shake paintballs around every once in awhile (keyword gently) this helps keep pressure off one point of the ball more for long term storage.
4. Try to store in a air tight container.
I am pretty sure freezing paintballs make them dimple more and become more brittle so I wouldn't try it.

Just go with wat nick said, also when out on the field use a cooler or a place to keep the pb's out of the sun, BTW when you freeze a paintball it wil melt very quickly and water will condence on the outside causing the pb to get soft and dimpled.

I forgot to mention:
1. Don't buy walmart paint
2. Buy from a paintball shop. (they generally are fresher then walmart paint and stored/treated better then walmart paint)
3. If you do have to buy the cheap walmart paint open the box and check for breaks/dimples.

That makes three of us.
Although, i wouldn't say "no breaks", but it's only like 1 every once in a while, it's not that bad as long as your not palying a tourny or something.

Yea I am just saying its possible to get breaks in walmart paint (and all other paint for that matter) so I open the box and check the paint from where ever I buy it. I just don't like getting home and having a 500 round bag of paint I have to clean because there are a few breaks in there. So your best bet is to open every box before you buy to make sure the paint is in good condition.

Not saying you can't get some good paint at a good price, I'm just trying to point out why you should check the box before you buy it. I gauantee that the guy working the sporting goods section or the stockboy knows a lot less about paint care than a guy running a proshop(although you should check it at the proshop too).

If you have to buy paint at Wal-Mart then look into the Zap Recreational, it's not too bad, except it smells like rotten fish. It also has a pretty thick shell, so it doesn't dimple or break in storage as often as the cheap BE stuff.
So ein pech

^^^Thick shell, thick fill, smells like crap, under 40 dollers, dosent dimple as much, hard case that i think is airtight even when the seal is broke...best WalMart has to offer,i actully would rather shoot that stuff than spank, exept the green spank, you know the green spank with the white fill, thats the best spank there is...wow im tierd
