i was in a a thread and someone was saying how some guns have cheating feautures built in and he said you cant use these guns on paintball fields so i was wondering if the spyder imagine has any such features

No, unless full auto and burst are counted. High end guns are usually the only ones with cheater borads.

With the imagine, you can make it tournement legal by pulling something out of the board. It tells you how to do it in the manual. All it does is dissengage the burst and full auto which makes the gun only semi automatic.

is it legal to use burst and full auto at a normal rec paintball place

no, thanks to people like you. Seriously though, the illegal/ramp modes are usually geared towards expericenced players, since they can control them.
