Did you read reviews? Did you run a search?
Which fits your needs better? Answer, buy equipment accordingly.

I have a Car Stock and dispite what people say about stocks, I like mine alot. Here a picture to give you a visual on how it may look on your gun, assuming you have a 98c

You just like posting that pic. If my marker looked that good I would too.
Seriously though, it depends, like most things, on your playing style and your preferences.
If you are playing exclusively woods/scenario and you like that drawn out rifle feel(:yuck:, but that's just me) the CAR-stock is very nice. The only thing that bugged me when I used it was that it doesn't have anything to really keep it in place on your shoulder so you really have to jam it in(that may have changed since then).
If you are playing woods with just a tiny bit of speed the folding will be better b/c you can get it out of the way.
After that, the more speedball you play the more a stock will hinder your ability to play your bunkers tight and excel.

The folding stock folds out of your way, but here's the thing: you don't usually have time to do that in a firefight. To me, that feature was a big waste of effort. I went with the CAR stock for the added support and comfort. But like Coenan said, it depends on you. Try them out. You might not end up liking a stock, and that is a big payout for "not liking it." Try 'em out, and if you have specific questions, then ask. It is easier for us to help you that way.

Thanks Coenen
Phathed, it does give support like Cadet2005 said. And like Coenen said it does give it that "Rifel Feel" witch help me out because I shot 22s and 12 Gauges before I came into paintball. And if you play both Speedball and Woods ball, you can take the Stock off with only the turn of a Screw.
IMO i think you should Purchase it.

I shoot real guns too, but u should keep ur stock out not have it shouldered the when u get into a fight fold it up and shoot, just keep it out and shoot.

i prefer a folding just cause you can get it out of the way quickly by folding it over.i wouldnt use it all the time so it would be better for me.it comes down to what you prefer.

when i was looking at stocks i considered a car stock for a while but decided against it because i read that it had a tendency to rattle and make noise. id probably go with the folding stock over the car if it was me. i like my stock though, regardless of how useless it is.
youve probably already looked through all the reviews but here they are just incase.
