That way you can play, and not always have to keep adjusting/tuning your gun.
If you want a gun you can tinker with until you are blue in the face...get the cocker. You'll have a blast with it.
If you want a gun that is plug and play, but does have limitations...then the mag is the way to go. If you get the mag, whatever you do make sure you get the powerfeed. The standard feed is a paint blender. It has a good upgrade path, but it is limited in what it can do.
I have to say that I personally prefer my cocker over my mag. I am one of the rare individuals who own both. The mag is nice because it is smaller, lighter, and easier to debug and work on. The cocker is nice because it is quieter, more acurate, and more fun to wrench on.......

I used my mag in tourneys before, and so has alot of other people.Cockers are more or less the gun of choice by most people now adays.I use a diffrent marker in tourneys myself now.But the mag in in its case as a back up.I sold one of them but keeping the one in case i ever need it.

mags are awesome, and they're so insanely durable and easy to maintain, it'll never break down, and it doubles as a hammer/other blunt hitting object. Those guns are truly indestructible, and they're also very very simple, ya just cant go wrong with one. between a standard mag on a good air system, and the cocker, you're going to be very very happy with whatever you chose

I like the fact of having two guns to choose from. Like today, it's raining. I was and still am all hot to trot to use my Shocker. It's a light rain, but I still don't want to take the added chance of screwing it up.
Out comes the indistructible back-up gun: the Automag!
