Why do expansion chambers have stages?

Supposedly because the more chambers it has, the more area the co2 has too expand. But that's phoeey, the larger area you give the CO2, the better the chamber will work, making so call chambers is a gimmick that doesn't work as well.

Well, RIchy, it's kinda right. Atleast it is now.


Stages used to work back in the days when all everyone had was HP guns that needed VERY little flow. Stages worked great (better than full open cells). Now that everyone is trying to go LP, stages don't work as well.
