Do you think the clamshell on the new B2K5 and BKO will be interchangeable to older models, kind of like Intimidators. I'm getting tired of waiting for the B2K5 and am thinking of just getting an 04 as long as the clamshells are interchangeable.

They will screw onto the marker but it wont work with the current noid/manifold assembly in the B2K4's.

the reason it wont work is not because of the kind of noid, its cause of the way its mounted. In order to put a b2k4 frame on an older bushy you'll have to tap the air holes in the gun body for barbs so you can run hoses from there to the noid, which would be mounted in the grip.

there was actually a guy on PBN who did this to his bushy. He then cut his tray down so it was like less than 1cm tall. it reduced the height alot, it was probly close to the height of the B2K5. but with the work involved, not just anyone could do it.

I can be done and is going to be done!!!.

When the B2K5's become availible I will be putting a 2K5 frame on my old Gen2 Bushy that I have cut up.

To install the frame you will need a few items.

1) 10/32 Tap
1) #19 Drill bit
1) 10/32 QEV
2) 10/32 Hose barb
2 ft 1/8 in ID polyurethane hose
1) HUM-HEA10F5-GL-101W (Humphrey solenoid or equivilant there of)
4) 4/40 screws 1/2inch long.

1) Remove the ram assembly from your marker.
2) Drill out the air passages to the ram
3) Drill out the air passage to the noid
4) Tap all three holes with 10/32 tap
5) Install QEV in hole closest to the rear of the marker
6) Install 10/32 hose barbs in remaining holes
7) Connect gas line from the hose barbs and QEV to noid
8) Locate noid into gripframe
9) Screw gripframe to marker
10) Shot the hell outta someone.
