Air Cannon Ammo

I have recently built an aircannon, does any body know how to make types of shells I can use for it when I play paintball. The diameter of the barrel is 1.5" So far I've used toilet paper rolls filled with pballs and the ends filled with tissues. When you fire the paper casing comes of in midair and it gives a nice shotgun effect. Juts wanted to see if anybody uses different types of ammo.

I just had to register for this thread. Try using 2 cut in half dixie cups. Glue the 2 bottom ends together, making a concave design. Fill the top end (either end) with paintballs, and ram it down the barrel. Makes for some fun :D

That's a bit like what I've seen. Or you could use the toilet paper rolls, cut them in half, then get a carboard circle and glue or use duct tape to put it on the bottom, connecting them. Wow, sorry that didn't make any sense. Ok, just aim for a cylinder, with only one end closed, and the sides cut in half and flimsy. Then either fill it with paintballs, or put a balloon in there, and fill it while it's in there (held together with rubber bands). When you load it, take off the rubber bands, slip it in there and fire. The shell will come off in air, lobbing a huge balloon.
