Ok guys you know at local fields there's a like 10 foot surrender rule. Well i was whondering if any of you have ever spaced out and still shot some one from like 5 feet away, cause I have.
Yes, once i leaned out from behind a woodchip pile and there was a kid shooting at me from like 8 feet and it was too late I sent 3 balls into his goggles

That sounds worse then what i did. Geting shot by cocker from up close OUCH!. What i did was crouch/run up the side of the field. Some guy had his back turned to me yelling. So i ran by like a drive by i shot him 3 times in the back(about 4 feet away), But nailing some one with a cocker brutal!

In my opinion I think cockers not shoot hard compaired to a sypder. Anyways I only do the surrender thing on little kids. A big guy will try to fight it out and you both get out. If someone asks me to surrender I try and shoot them you they die too.

I remember one time one guy was behind a bunker and I just walked up and looked over the bunker for 3 minutes he didnt move, i was day dreaming or something, then two minutes after that I shot him he called hit and I kept shooting, he left and I was still shooting in the spot where he was, I then felt a stinging sensation in my back, legs, arms, I was still shooting, one ball/sec, Then I woke up after I was hit in the back of the head.
That was a very weird game

me and 2 other people had a ffa. So we all were looking for eachother until i heard sum1 say they were out, i went to check it out (i'm in the middle) and i see the dude, he decides to rush me, so i start running around the middle (air) bunker. he was also doing the same, and it tooks us 5 min to realize that we were both chasing eachotheraround the bunker then we shot eachother at the same time at point blank:laugh:

ummmmmph... well when i play outlaw, its speedball outlaw, and people do get bunkered, but if i know theres only 1 or 2 guys left on the other team, ill radio to one of my team mates and ask them to fire for about a second when ever he pops up, then pin him when i give the signal.. this way the one being bunkered dosnt get suspicious of pin paint all the suddden. instead ill creep over behind him on his blind spot and jab my barrel into his neck and pat him on the back or take a hand full of paintballs out of my hopper and sneak up behind him and yell BANNNNNGGG! and throw the paint at him the looks on their faces man... its too funny, the jay dropped, cockeyed and droorling, your 3 and a half steps ahead of the guy when ya do that and he feels like a ******* for not being more carefull. hahah. iv played with torney guys before and if you playin outlaw with them they do appreicate a good surrender rather than shooting them from 6" in the back of the head. i know i do. dont tell me thats wussy-ish. i believe unless your getting a cash prize, i prefer not to shoot one in the back that close. then again it sure is fun lighteing up that rat ******* like a christmass tree who talking all his sh*t eariler that day isnt it? hahah.
and thats all i have to say about that

It took one time of me gettin lit by accepting a surrender and they pulled a deadmans walk.
My form of surrender now involves 3 or 4 to the harness, gun, or if no other options, the back.
Surrender=Bunker bait
That does have exceptions, I have a thing about bunkering a 7 or 8 y/o kid.
I dont play much recball anymore, but when i do, I try to tone it down a lil bit, but I still bunker to a point, just not with 5 or 6, 2 or 3. at most.

Yea, these are some good stories...I only surrender if their barrel is within 2 feet of me, pointed at me, and Im pointed in an opposite direction. I have gotten so many welts it aint funny (OpForce was using PMI paint....you know how THICK those shells are? I call that paint BounceTastic cause thats all it does..) but I'm just to stupid to surrender....I dont even have any fat to take the hits :( (only 120 & 5'4") Ive only gotten succesffully bunkered once. I always manage to counter-bunker, which involves realizing someones tring to bunker you and as you see the barrel clear the bunker wnloading in their direction....I felt really bad about this one guy i did.....3 shots to the nuts in less than a second.....he decided to stand up stright at the wrong moment...And Ill always surrender to my female firends who play paintball....I get hurt later if I light them up....(never mind Dad...)

Not me but a guy on my team. Okay, it was the end of a game we were playing rec ball that day. Me and these two huge guyz were comin up along the ropes and there was person left . All of a sudden this kid pops out of the big like sewer pipe and my teammate shot him. So the kid calls dead man and starts walking half way off the field until he jumps behind a bunker and starts actin liek he's alive again. OMG my 2 teammates were soooo angry . One of em starts cussing like heck, starts running straight to where the kid is. Now he waiting right on the other side of the bunker when the kid pops out to shoot again he jumps over the front and well the rest all I heard was screaming and the kid walks of with about 4 -5 breaks on his back!

Guys that have played awhile will try to argue it. I remember at camp, there was only like five real players and 35 newbies (and they only let pump guns). Any ways, they have a 20 foot surrender range. One of my friends was on the other team and i cold killed him. The ref was right next to us, and he knew we could handle getting shot and didn't call him out. So my friend rushed me. Blam! snap shot him in the gogles while he was trying to cold kill me. One of my other friends tried to cold kill me with out any ammo and I argued he didn't have a clear shot, not knowing he had no paint. So I shot him to.
All the newbies gave up real quick however.

The worst thing about close range is bad paint. I got 3 balls in the gut from about 8 ft. None broke, and everybody was pissed at that guy.

one time Iwas playing at an indoor feild and there was this little cocky noob on the other team he said he would never surrender when the ref told us the rules. So the game started and I saw somone on the other team run behind a bunker. The coast was clear so Icharged his bunker. when I ran around the side I pointed my barrel at him ( it was the cocky noob and he was 4 feet away from me ) Ithen yelled "surrender!" he faced me pointed his gun at me and pulled the trigger........click.....his gun jammed! Ithen sent 3 pballs into chest, that taught him a lesson.

Ya, if I end up getting pretty close when I bunker someone, I always try to atleast shoot them in the foot/ harness something, I mean, I do what I have to do, but sometimes I do thrown some consideration in there. Course it depends sometimes too, people that are really good get it, and people that annoy me....but thats a diffent story.
One time though, this is where I get annoyed, the guy came right up to me, my entire team went out, and I got pushed by like 10 players and this guy still came up to me, my back side around a sup-air bunker and tottaly lit my back up. It was cool to just ask for a surender there instead of putting a barrel in my back and then pulling the trigger even though it was 10v1 and I had about 1 paintball left. Thats an ok time to ask for a surrender, I mean it was just rec ball after all.

Impy was he a good sport? I remeber I was playing sup air for this team of kids...probably 8-14 or so. They said they wanted to scrimage so they could practice so ofcourse my team said "sure no problems". Well we were playing and it came down to one kid who was playing back w/ (I can't recall but I think it might have been a defy or an angel...I know they look different) something that could really sling paint. Well he had already gone through like 6 pods and I was starting to get low on air/paint so I decided to just bunker the kid. My team opens up and keeps him pinned and I dash him and bunker him w/ one shot to the arm and another to the leg. I felt bad cause I did shoot him up close and I appolgized right there and then to the kid but he kind of "uhhuh whatever..." and walked off field. Then five minutes later his teammates walk up and say, hey we'd like if you chrono'd your gun, he (the kid I bunkered) doesn't want to play any more cause you hurt his arm..." So I did and it came up at 245 fps (I was on about 2 shots left of air) and his team still kind of bitc*ed and moaned but walked of. I then went over and apolgized again to the kid but he gave me some attidude so I walked away bitting my lip.
Point is, you wanna scrimage cool no problems. Your going to be 8 or 10 and play with a high end electro, shoot like 1000 balls in a game and what have you, you better be prepared to get bunkered. You know what though, I played a fair game all day, and I even asked the ref if I screwed up and he said No. Ohwell kind of annoying but I guess it happens.

Not all of us,2k1AngelShooter,are b*tchy young guns.LoL what a wussy, man.Do you play with 10 year olds?LOL.Anyway I was playing a 2v2 rec and were walking straight up the middle. All of a sudden I see a glare of metal and hear the click of a trigger.I fall flat on my stomache and send 2 balls to the dude's goggles. My teamate(supposodly says he isn't a newb)stays hidden behind a bunker.I get back up and move to the right of him and straight up the middle. My teamate starts to take fire,so I make a mad dash for his bunker and when I'm like 40 feet away he screams "I surrender!" and tries to get a shot at me.I was laughing so hard I didn't pay attention and went ahead and bunkered him.I gotem in the chest, but he said I have my velocity to high and that I cheat.I asked to go 1on1 with no bunkering allowed and he stopped trash talking.Man you gotta love newbs!

one game I bunkered everyone, er, amde them all surrencder, kinda funny, and annoying. It was only about 2 mins in, and I was out of air, shoulda filled before playing, tank was about a month old, so, w/ a hoppper full, I run up and started. It only took aminute, but I got about 3 people out, the last one got shot by my teamate who ndidn't here hoim surrender, and he didn't ahve time to put up his gun, he kinda shot, and this guy sureendered at the same time. He told the owner and ref that I shot him like 7 times, but it was not mypaint, side, I couldn't shoot!! owner got ticked, and gave me a lecture, wouldn't listen to me saying "its not my paint, I'm shooting yellow, its his, he is only one shooting pink!!" last guy I bunkered, a newb, was so cunfused, he is just turning around and around saying "what, what?!?" ref called him out. I also bunkered several other games. first game, that was second, I bunkered my friend. I was like, 20 feet, and he just turned and shot, we were just running closer and closer, he hit me, and before I coudl feel it, and stop shooting, I hit him , wasn't cheating, unless you are REALLY anal, but sense nerves only work so fast, also, I don't think he hit me first, he's only one who thinks that. I also bunrkeed him again another game, he was out, but his two teammates by him weren't. Stood up to shoot, and got nailed like 4 times, wasn't fun. AFter second game, everyone called me "the man" it was cool

At our paintball field when have no rule about the limit of feet to hit sombody. But when you get like 8 feet to them you ask if they surrender if they do you let them go if they dont then you just shoot the heck out of them

hehe. well I have only played rec ball so far, but one time I was going to bunker my friend. The coast was clear so I sprinted up to his bunker. I Went aruond the wrong side of the bunker and he was facing me, I shot him in the leg and called him out, but he kept shooting ( this happened in like 4-5 seconds) He hit me 4 times and his teamate hit me 3 more times in the back. I had a bleeding welp on my leg. HURT BAD! ( still hurts) Oh well Im not a puss so I touhged it out. Anways I need to get better at bunkering. and when I play we dont surrender.
For me there is no surrender rule. I say surrender, if no answer in 2 seconds splat, your dead.

I just see if they try to shoot me after i say surrender, if they try, I already have my gun aimed to shoot him.

Where I used to live we never had a surrender rule, or if there was nobody followed it. It was real jungle where we played at, and it was not unusual for someone to sneak behind their opponents. If you came up behind someone on the other team, it was generally acceptable to shoot them in the back of the head to let them know you were there. It was mostly newbees that you could sneak up on like that. After that happens to you then you always watch your back or stick with your buddies. Of course if it was a little kid, then you wouldn't shoot him, at least not in the head. Newbees and little kids always used vests, so a shot in the back or chest wouldn't hurt.

Yeah that might hurt or cause some major BRAIN DAMAGE. That's pretty idiotic. Just getting shot at normal distance in the head hurts and leaves some bad wounds.
