i have a 2003 bko.i wanted to know if the stock feedneck will fit a eggy2 or halo b.and i wanted to know what to get. a halo b without a rip drive. or a eggy 2 with a Z-board.the halo is still more expensive.and im Realy tight on money so cash doses count.

halo definately. eggs are garbage. if you get one, you'll end up replacing the lid and battery door so often that you'll end up spending as much money as you would have on a Halo. And you'll have to suffer knowing that you could have bought a faster, sturdier, better hopper up front and saved yourself all that time and trouble ;)

to answer the original question, in the stock feedneck the eggs are a little loose from my experience.....

Also, the halo is a faster loader, but the egg 2 is a good option as well, I have had mine for close to two years and other than putting a z board in it have never replaced a thing, its a very reliable hopper

This is why we mod bushy detents. All you have to do is strengthen your detents and you wont have any problems. To do this cut a small sliver of macroline and slip it inside the o-ring in your detent. This'll strengthen it and prevent double feeds. There's a few other ways to strengthen it as well. here ya go. http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=256621

I've never had a problem with double feeds or the detent slicing the paintballs in half. works perfectly.

oh yeah, the Halo feedneck will be too big for your stock BKO feedneck. You'll either sand it down, or bite the bullet and buy a clamping feedneck. The feedneck is worth it. You're probly gonna buy one later on anyway, so why not buy it now and save yourself the trouble of having to sand your Halo?

I like my egg. Butt W/E nto gonna start a war. I have some clamping feedneck that is really nice but I have no idea what brand. I'll try to post pics when I get my camera fixed.

I have an eggy II with Z. With a few mods (smoothening of feedneck) i do get an 18.5 average bps out of it. befor it was like 16.5ish....I have pds so it wasntr a huge deal, plus i had this hopper befor for my spyder.

Bottom line if you can swing a halo you wont regret it.

But refering to people breaking eggs. If you dont put the battery door on right it breaks....as for lids....how did you manage that? i had a broken door, its because i only got one side of the thing on without realizeing and the battery springs are uber stiff and snap it went. I got my egg for 25 bucks and a new custom shell for another 20 so i think i made out well for a functional hopper.

I've not broken anything on my egg II yet....

Comparing with oranges with apple tho...I'd HOPE w/ the extra money that you are paying for something faster and more durable....
