How do the bouncing betty style of grenades work?

They are 6" pieces of rubber surgical tubing like the stuff that's used in a waterballoon slingshot, then you clamp off one end w/ a cable tie, then you fill it with a syringe and stick a ball bearing in the end. You stick the pin in after the ball bearing so it holds it in. You simply pull the pin, throw it, and when it hits something the bEARING POPS OUT AND PAINT SPRAYS IN A CIRCLE!!!
