well in order of what i would do (although no one listens to me ;))

1.new 4 way ( or 3 way wat ever you call it) i prefer the smooth quick feel of ans and kapp, plus palmers quickswitches have been leeky lately

2.New ram I like sto's since they can be rebuilt but ans mini ram is quicker but runs at a higher pressure

3.new cocking rod, the stock ones are prone to bending at the worst possible time

4.polish the internal bores for smoother flow of air-just get a bunch of q-tips (400-500) and a bottle of brasso and dive in. U are going to need a lot of time for this but it lowers pressure by maybe 30 psi

5.Tornado valve and superfly bolt (by them at the same time) takes the pressure down by like 100psi

6.a madman spring kit use the green springs for a main and valve spring

7.a vigilante reg with the lp spring

8. Centrefeed body- much better resale value

9.milling and anodizing-just looks damn nice

10.get it properly timed at your local shop so there is no blowback and has vacuum suck you will never chop with this

you will now have a beautiful flowing low pressure cocker
that will have an amazing resale value.

You don't really need anything.

But as your next upgrade I would suggust a new inline reg.

A trigger job and a rev is a good idea if you dont have them. A new inline reg is a good idea if you want to run low pressure but otherwise i wouldnt get one.

on my already upgraded shocktech i want more :-)
i hope to get a bullseye mammoth trigger job
get a centerflag adjustable inline lp reg
new grips
and more barrels
and some springs
and to add some comments the shocktech 4way i have in incredable! its designed like no other and it is very short- also the sto ram is very very nice too.

i hear the new centerflag regs are pretty good.

Plz to make everyone at pbc happy dont get a mammoth trigger job. You are paying $130 and all they do is put in a new grip frame and new springs. You can do the same thing yourself with some bic clicky pen springs.

you know what, i tried what you said- i modified a spring in a pen cap and it did wonders :-) i love my trigger now!! now what should i try??!!

o ya what is the pressure of the gun? I suggest you do number 4 on my list since it will drop the pressure a bit. Also do you have a guage under the front block? If you dont put one!!! All you have to do is get a dye micro guage and take the little allan nut out from under the block and put some blue loctite on the guage threads(not alot) and screw the guage in

i like the dye micro guage idea- and any way shocktech autocockers come with polished internals and i run it on a rat valve so it is already a lp cocker

get a centrefeed body and get it powdercoated at SiN, its cheaper, more durable and looks like ano

do you know if they to body conversions? i know the shop called docsmachine does an incredable job from going fron right feed to vertical and back. They made the worlds only rightfeed angel lcd

I love docs knickles work when i had my imp i was gonna get a rip-ls kit. And to be correct there are 2 right feed angels one is the red dark angel he did and the other is Dave Youngbloods silver led or lcd (im not sure). No SiN only does powdercoat and tinplating (almost like nickel or chrome plating)

How are you going to get your cocker to run under 100psi?

Nemessis
01-03-2001, 06:34 PM
its possible :D all you need is the right things. Doesnt a freeflow run at like 35-45

july_favre
01-03-2001, 06:38 PM
the free flows cocking pressure is 45. I could probably make my cocker ing pressure 2psi but my gun woudlnt work. The lowest I have ever heard of was 100psi that was really 135 cause the gauge was innacurate.

Nemessis
01-03-2001, 06:47 PM
o still thats pretty damn low. lower than an impulse lower than a shocker, not lower than a chaos but low. anyway i was just kidding about taking it that low. also the best thing for your gun MC is to get it timed to have vacuum suck

Brazen

Nemessis

Faster feed rate + Better Resale Value = Vert. feed body

Nope. it is the most unnecisary upgrade for the cocker.
