adjustable ouput nitro tanks are higher level tanks usually like aci, geddons, apocs, etc. You may adjust the psi at which your tank releases air(basically this is like a regulator on your tank) with preset tanks it is set at a preset amount(about 700-800 psi) and to be able to adjust this you need a regulator. you understand?

ACI arent "higher level tanks", but that's a different story...
Like he said, adjustable output instead fixed output, and the more expensive tanks usually arent preset tanks, and they'll usually give you better consistency and recharge than the lower level tanks. Which isnt to say that all adjustable tanks are high quality tanks though...

so which is better to get adjustable or preset??

yeah, in most cases, but if you get a "non high end" tank, that you'll still need an inline reg, but if you get a maxflow or something, you won't need a secoundary reg. SO look at elTwitcho, he has a fairly cheap preset tank, but, he has a kick *** vigilante reg, so he has a LP equivilent, but you can save movey doing what he did, cheap tank great reg, or get a great tank, no reg

Nah, my Pure Energy isnt a high end tank, it's a low end tank, at low end prices, but I put a good regulator on there and get really good consistency at the chrony, so that's a good alternative to buying an expensive adjustable tank, and certainly better IMO than buying an inexpensive adjustable tank :)

If you put a max flow on a shutter, I kid you not, I will find where you live and kick you square in the nuts. Twice... look at a Crossfire or Pure Energy man, it'd be senseless to put a maxflow on a shutter

Why.
cant I put a max flow nitro tank on my shutter.
I know where you live I will kick you in the ballz and then make you dance around.

Why? Because that's a 400+ dollar tank on a 280 dollar gun, it just boggles the mind to even consider that
