My mom took me to play paintball today and after she picked me up, we talked about the games I played. I told her about one guy that had a DM5 and said he must have benn shooting about 20 BPS. She thought that I was full of horse ****. This thread is based on a bet that I made to her that I could prove that someone could shoot 20 BPS. I need 5 people to confirm what I am saying to win the bet. I am pressed for time and didn't want to look up the answer so I just made a thread I will delete it when she believes me!:rolleyes:

There is a guy at my field who has shot faster then a gun shooting on PSP mode, which is pretty damn fast. Not 20 BPS but still faster then what most can shoot, I myself shoot no more then 15 BPS.

Also, I doubt there are many people who shoot past 15, if there is one at your field you should hope you don't have to run through his lane. So the guy shooting 20 BPS is possible.

That must feel wierd since the balls arent coming out per trigger pull.

A Tippmann Effect 98c w/ matrix board hit 21. There was very little bounce.

Not even...when I was trying out Matrixes, one guy showed me a trick...take your good'ol proto, and turn debounce to 1....the gun's bps goes ungodly...most highends have this debounce option. I was amazed at how much it would suck to be on the receiving end of that Proto.

Or, my gun on un-capped full auto=26 bps with drop-off, 20 bps consistently with paint and air.

Dale Ford of 68calibre.com was goldwaved at over 20bps, so it deffinetly is possible, your mom shouldnt be making bets about things she doesnt know much about :laugh:

Ok, maybe I can't look him up. But I do know the team exists, so it's somewhat realiable(which means I'll assume it's the thruth).

And Jeezer, you should really see this guy shoot. When I clear my HD of some useless files I'll go film the guy shooting and send you the vid(will go slow cause of my connection though)

The guy I saw that might have been shooting 20 BPS wasn't no amateur. He had a DM5, was decked out in DYE gear and was essntially team captain for the entire day for whatever team he was on. I might also add that whoever's team he was on usually won

A while back we had a huge thread about this in the Dragun/Odyssey forum. Someone posted a vid of someone hitting 27. If you search you can probably find it. Some kid had asked if having a gun shoot 20 bps was worth it.
