I realized just now, thinking back on all my paintball experiences, that I have not gone to ONE single practice without having to spend atleast 30 min fixing the marker I was using, or some other piece of gear.
I'm not angry or female dogging, I'm just curious if everyone else here experiences the same....undependability.

idk... i just felt like doing that last part
Nope, I've never had to do so much as replace a single O-ring on my Proto.
Of course, I maintain it very well. But still.

You just jinxed yourself, bro. You're going to go to play, and you're going to raise your marker to fire...and then it's going to fall about at the hilt.

My gun is in the shop with a series of problems, its been away from me for a while, I had some warn springs and a busted seal I never even noticed.
the only problem i had was ......running out of air during a game...and that isnt even a problem :P

i've really only had that happen...once, in 2 years...and that was only because i was stupid and didnt know about cocker's as much as i do now...learn and maintain your gear and it will work just fine.

If you want zero maintenance buy an ego or an angel, if you want a gun that you can change performance and have alot of options but still want reliability buy a timmy or a trix. I would not reccomend any other gun (avoid angel if possible, IMO XSV Ego>Timmy=Ego>Trix>Angel).

The biggest problems I've had with my Piranha were that sometimes I'd have a hell of a time trying to get the velocity up(I don't even want to talk about the day I forgot my spring kit:(). Other than that I just get normal stuff like leaks and the occasional chop. My Ion hasn't had any problems yet, hope it stays that way for a long time.

I've never had any problems with my Impulse...
Even with my Spyder's I very rarely had any problems that would cause me to have to sit out a game.

I haven't had any serious problems with my equipment. I chop maybe two balls out of a case with my BKO. The noid screws used to come loose which was an easy fix, and I haven't had to replace a single o-ring (even the o-ring detent).

I very rarely have a problem with my Timmy, and if I do, I can just borrow a gun from one of my teammates that has 2 High Ends. Usually the only problem I have is if my Halo batteries die, and that's a quick fix.
Before you leave the field, get your tank filled. Then after you go home and clean your stuff, gas up your gun to see if there are any problems. If everything is fine, you should be good. If not, try to fix the problem and then gas it up again and hope it works.
