Since I'm tired of all of the "What's the next upgrade I should get" questions I am creating a single thread for them.

Here are the rules:
POST your setup(sigs change), budget, and anything that is already out of the question. Any other information deemed pertinent is welcomed.

Answers should be provided with a brief description of why. Also make sure to specify who you are talking to.

Any questions about choosing between upgrade A and upgrade B can be answered via running a search or reading reviews, I don't want to see them here. This thread only serves to suggest, not to tell, the final decision on what to get is, as always, up to you.

All other rules, regarding spam and personal attacks apply, break them and there will be a warning coming your way in a big hurry.

I REALLY hope this works, happy posting.

OK, I'll go first, here's my setup:

Tippy A5
flatline
GTA expansion chamber
32* drop forward
Tapco 6 pos stock
Java remote

I have about $150-200 to spend. I can't convert to CA or Nitro because there's nowhere close where I can fill either. I was thinking a sling, a superfly bolt, a RT, or a miniscope, what do you guys think?

PS: Does anyone know how many PSI a tank has to be to fill HPA? Thanks------- SEAL

The answer to your question should be in the Air Systems forums.

For your setup, which you've already asked about in other threads like umpteen million times;) I'd say the following:
The scope is IMO impractical, it's out.
RT is going to up your ROF, but also your gas and paint consumption, without the ability to fill nearby it could lead to problems.
Aftermarket bolts, no matter what anybody tells you, offer no improvement and are a waste of precious money that can be spent on paint and air.

My suggestions:
Another CO2 tank for sure, if getting fills is a problem buy another 20oz tank and enjoy having another 800-1000 shots.
Double trigger(w/ mods), it's going to give you some extra fire power, but won't sap you of air or use up paint quite like the RT can.
Ricochet R-5 hopper, an upgrade worth looking at for any A-5 user IMO. Simply put, it's a Rico to fit your Cyclone.

All of that should be well under your budget, leaving you with some lee way to buy something else, perhaps a harness or a better mask etc. Or just to play ball.

Feel elightened?

Any suggestions or replacements with my setup, Coenen?

Kind of off-topic, but have you thought of that Tippmann BB of the Month thread? I asked the starter of the Spyder one about a month or two ago, and he said its welcomed, and you said you would think about it...No reply...

Meh...I never really made a decision. If you guys really want to, have at it, but you'll have to take care of it yourselves. The only thing I wanna have to do it stick it and maybe pare down some threads on occasion. If it gets to be a problem it goes away simple enough?

TippmannPhreak: You are intelligent enough to make your own upgrade choices. This thread really isn't meant for those who know what they are doing; it's more a of a "point newbs in the right direction" thing.

To SEAL34:

I'd definitely consider an RT or E-grip for a higher ROF. My e-grip works great and I'm sure an RT is also a good investment. A cheaper upgrade is just to get a double trigger, but you have enough money for an RT or E-grip.

A cheap upgrade - as Coenen mentioned - is the R5. The higher capacity and better looks are worth it.
