Pro Basic threads

does the pro basic have classic 98 threads or the new ones, for instance would my flatline and other barrel purchased way back in the day for my 98c fit it?

I should hope that they have the new threads. Especially sine the thread change was made to correct an alignment problem.

Flatlines were somehow unaffected by the change if memory serves. Even if it won't fit, all you have to do is call Tippmann and ask for a new adapter. Your old barrel however may be a lost cause.

:laugh: for the record it was 2 other barrels Ko 4 peice and an Aradus adjustible bore

The Flatline should work but you might need a barrel adapter for putting old 98 barrels onto newer 98 guns

are the pro basic threads unique to that gun (aside from newer 98's) because finding a barrel for it is difficult considering most barrels are classic 98 threads.
