Just got a used gun and it's covered with stickers.... :(
Does anyone have any clue on what the best way to remove stickers from a gun without damaging the gun or anno? Is there anything that can safely help you remove them?

Peel off the stickers, then have at the sticky stuff with baby oil ;).
My Mammy taught me that trick :D.

your mom's nailpolish remover will work well too.

 I've used it, it's good stuff. I always call it "goo-be-gone" even though the actual product is "goo-gone". I'm just freaky like that.

WD-40 works wonders on sticker residue, just spray some on a paper towl and rub it off. Take care you don't get any WD-40 on any O-rings or other polymers, as they might get eaten away by it.

Cleaners that will remove residues but not anodization:
-Lacquer thinner (this is a put-some-on-a-cloth deal...lacquer thinner will eventually destroy most anything if you leave it sitting in it)
-Any variety of "Orange" soaps (soap with citric acid in it)
-Isopropyl A.K.A. Rubbing Alcohol
-Nail Polish Removers (specfically, the acetate in it)
-Vinager (once again, it's the acetic acid)
Go ahead and use name brand stuff if you want, but a bottle of rubbing alcohol will do pretty much that same thing. Of course, use it in a well ventilated area, as we all know PBR members don't need to lose any more brain cells :P.

I've had bad experiences with that stuff.... took the color right off my halo. Don't use it on plastic. But, like everyone says, use goo-gone.

Rubbing Alcohol works well, and you probably already have it in your house.

I was under the impression he was using it on the marker itself...
On plastic, lacquer thinner is a definate no-no...It ate through one of my paint pots in a matter hours.
