hrm...this one is kind of a tough call to make, to give advice on.
a trilogy is a good starting marker to get into autocockers with, but you have to know some stuff about them to really be able to play with one. and you'll have to learn how to use the trigger on it, so that you arent letting off of it too soon, and chopping balls by shortstroking it.
upgrades for trilogies are kinda limited right now, and the few good ones that are out there, will be seriously expensive.
I think, that if you are wanting to get into autocockers, that it would be a good buy. But understand, that in the long run, if you stick with cockers, its gonna end up being somewhat expensive.
otherwise, I'd say to throw some upgrades into your pilot with the money, like a regulator, or compressed air if you're using co2, or maybe go with an electronic trigger frame.
or maybe even get the spyder imagine for 108 at actionvillage.com and try out an electro.

Since you already have the Pilot(That's what I've gathered) you should get an Ion, it'll beat the Trilogy in almost everything. Plus, with the ups you had on your Spyder that you can't use on your Ion, you could sell and use for Ion upgrades. And you know, they come stock with progressives now*.

*Since Smart Parts stopped making Impulses, which came stock with Progressives, they couldn't use them on other markers because they were impulse threaded, so, seeing as the Ion is Impulse threaded, Smart Parts decided to use the leftover barrels.
