unless you mix the gold cup (which is, as you know, a liquid lube, unlike dow which is a solid lube) completely into the dow, and make sure it is 100% mixed when you put it on your gun, it'll work. the thing is though, gold cup+dow33 is no better than dow33. if you incorrectly mix the gold cup with the dow, then you are risking getting some gold cup into the solenoid valve, and then you get to buy a new valve. slick honey is a better option than mixing dow and gold cup, but again, it is no better than dow33. just stick with dow....

it'll work fine. won't be any different from dow as far as performance goes. just make sure it is well mixed, as i have seen the liquid seperate from the solid in puss when left out for a while.

as a general rule, i normally just say use dow33, because it will always work.

you should never use any sort of combination of dow and any liquid lubricant though, as if the liquid lube gets into the solenoid, you're f-d...

If you are looking for some Dow 33 I've got a few of the BIG tubes of the stuff pretty cheap. Email me if you are interested: jinhopark@yahoo.com

The tube is easily like a lifetime supply for a single marker, and if you sell the marker then the next marker can benefit from it.

lube mixing and being really picky with lube only makes a noticeable difference on spool valves, which have alot of o-rings, and potentially alot of friction.

the impulse does just great on plain ol' dow 33.
