COCKER!!!!!!! WUHOOO!!!!! get the cocker!!!, no in all seriousness the number one answer your gunna get is "get what you preffer" and its the truth,

obviously impulse is gunna shoot much faster and is cheaper then a stock BM (depending on what impulse your getting)

if you have enough for a BM then you have enough for a Vision Impulse with a vertical reg maybe a little left over for those must have upgrades (ask the guys here what they are)

Cockers are amazing guns IN THE RIGHT HANDS!, really the only way that they will be truely reliable is if you know exactly how to work on them or if you buy one and dont mess with it AT ALL!

you should try shooting both and see what you like, but my suggestion is save the money and the headaches of a cocker and get a sweet vision Impulse

ps: i am a cocker lover so you know how hard it was for me to do this

Hey! Get back in your box! Although you did set the mil203 kid straight, Like Enema said, cockers do run sweet in the right hands. However if you start messing with them (and you don't know exactly what you're doing) you'll run into alot trouble before you go thru 1 hopper of paint! :eek: Imps, plain and simple great markers!

I sold my Impulse to buy a Black Magic Cocker, but I'd say a $700 vert. reg. Impulse from www.e-paintballoutlet.com with upgrades like a new trigger, a delrin bolt, a vff, and a drop-forward, would be about equal. You should try both and see which one you like the feel of better. (The Impulse I sold wasn't a $700 one.) I miss my Impulse every time I short-stroke, but I think I'll really like the BM once I get used to the trigger.

IMHO a vision eye is not needed unless you are a serious tourney player (maybe not even then), and even then there are other better upgrades that you could get for the money (trigger, bolt, grips, barrel, vff).

By the way, I'm defending cockers too! They're sweet!:D

I happen to have shot ds613 old impy and his black magic. If you want speed and reliability get an impy. If you want a gun w\no kick that has an incredible feel,get the bm. The 1st time your bm breaks down though you are gonna have to go cry to your local airsmith
