co2 on impulse

ok im having an argument with this guy
i want to buy his impulse and of course i want to try it bfeor i buy it
i only have co2 for the moment and he wont let me try it 1 time because he sia s its gonan ruin his gun lol

running c02 on it once for a couple of shots wont matter you just cant use it as your primary.Just dont expect the greatest performance though.

My uncle uses a anti syphened 20oz on his impluse and it works fine. So aslong as you have a anti syphened tank your fine.

Yes....50 shots will. Just loading up the Co2 is bad enough. Just go to your local field next time with the guy, and ask someone there if you can borrow their nitro tank for a few shots. People are nice.

i used to do it, until i started using nitro. no co2 will ever touch another one of my high end guns ever. no offense man but i would not let you terst my impy without nitro. no it wont kill your gun. i used co2 for a little bit. but nitro is so much better for your gun.

Before I got a nitro tank I used c02 on my imp for 2 days of paintball and nothing bad happened. (Ofcourse this was before I knew the dangers of using c02)

Chances are nothing bad will happen with pure CO2, but there is still a chance. With A/S you should be fine, although your reg can still freeze (mine did, and yes the hose was aligned).

greg113 that is their opinion if you go back to the beginning of the thread and read it over you will see who really started the conflict here. it qas you by saying "omg i cant talk to you people" until then they were just trying to help you and were giving you opinions and thoughts on what they would do if they were in the same situation. NO NEED for you to get all riled up like this. Ever think that maybe you were wrong in thinking that putting 20 shots through an imp with pure CO2 WILL screw up your gun? You shouldn't talk trash to us when all we are doing is giving up time to answer your question and help you out a little. Personally i dont think that 20 shots of pure co2 on an imp will screw up your gun. BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE!! your noid can blow or your internals might get screwed up or your reg might freeze up. Now quote i said i "dont think" it will screw it up. "i dont think" means probably not.

this isn't a james bond movie, stuff doesn't "explode" because you use co2, it will just lose performance, start leaking or stop working if you don't have a/s. no explosions.
