barrel treatment

has anyone done a barrel treatment on their gun like pro team products barrel treatment? also....do u guys think its necessary to do those drilling mod's to after market barrels? u know...gettin an electric drill, wrap cloth and spin into barrel til it gets hot?? cuz...it mite screw up da barrel itself rather than make it better. o yea...i just wanna say i hate my m98 stock barrel.

I think drilling and honing your barrel is useless , pointless, and has the potential to ruin your barrel. I have used the pro-team barrel treatment, and haven't noticed a bit of difference. The most I usually do is clean out my barrel with dish soap and hot water...

Yes, don't try to hone or drill aftermarket barrels, it messes them up. The only barrel i would do this to would be a brass eagle stringray one barrel :)
