yeah i got a police confiscated classic talon and I used it once and the cocking handle broke off after about 15 balls, can a new one be purchased? if so for how much.

see the thing is the handle is attached to a little slide that is connected to the bolt , the slide broke off of the handle. i tried welding it back on and only got high off the fumes rather than getting any progress. i will probably just keep it in my gun collection to make me feel better at night.

I see I thought the handle broke off... Well I don't know much about pumps but I'll look at the picture and make random suggestions...

Give it an asprin?... no no... hmmm

Just a thought that i had while my talon (RIP) was working before it broke, what if you cut a slot on the side and connected a screw or something there for bolt action style cocking.

probably my best bet, only the talon is so crappy it doesn't use a screw it uses a plastic link half ring thing to catch a grove on the bolt to cock. Im sure i can build something though...

I think I ordered a handle direct from Brass Eagle...not sure how much but for sure it isn't more expensive then buying a new Talon.

I'm sure you can just order the piece from Brass Eagle's website in fact let me know exactly which piece (picture if possible) because I have a spare Talon for parts that I can probably just give you.

i looked on the brass eagle website and they didn't have it, anyway in that picture it is the small black slide that attaches to the handle that goes into the gun, the handle and slide broke apart when i re cocked it (which takes some effort)

If you drill and tap threads in the side of the bolt youd be set

it would be ALOT cheaper to get a new gun. Sportchalet has like Spyders for 50 dollars and they are good beginner guns:P

pretty much, i have a pmi trracer for stock class, the only reason i have a talon is because i have several cops in my family and they bring me confiscated paintball markers whenever they get the chance.

and DraxXxus1331 no I am not looking for a cheap beginner marker...I have been playing on 7 years now...

OK, I was going to refer you to the Talon Owners Group but their webpage has been taken over by BB gunners. :(

You get some flat aluminum stock and make a new pump "rod". You use screws to mount it to the pump handle. It takes a little dremel work and some ingenuity but it can be done.

Hey Stan, what other markers have you been given?

This talon, stingray, saber, Trracer, spyder java, the usual confiscated things, gotta love being in a family of cops :D

did this really mean enough to you that you want to spend more money fixing it than what it is really worth?

Some people find joy in reconstructing and repairing things...

LIKE CARS!

Or should we just let all old cars rust. :D
