I would like to know which gun is better; the A-5 with an E-Grip or a BKO marker. BKOs can shoot faster, I know, but are there as many upgrades for a BKO? Also, are they as good quality upgrades? Tippmann is known for reliability, so will the BKO hold up as well? I would appreciate any info yall have. Thanx!

I know it isn't one of your options, but I'd go with the Smart Parts Ion, they come with progressives on them, are the same price, and are wicked.

quite frankly, the A-5 with E-grip rips. And with standard cyclone feed, odds are you wont break alot of balls shooting that fast. that means no buying and buying faster hoppers, expensive hoppers. All that really leaves to be desired in the A-5 is a delrin bolt, expansionchamber and a higher quality barrel. period, end of story.

BKO is flat out better than the A5. Blowback vs. electro. I recommend the Ion over both though.

i would recommend buying a real high end marker like a trix or timmy or buying a nice blowback for around 150 then saving for a trix or timmy.

I have a bko while one of my teammates uses the A-5 with e-grip. Not to diss his gun but the bko is faster, although the A-5 has some bouncing issues that make is go a little faster. A-5 is more reliable but if you know what your doing with a bko you will have no problems. A-5s have more upgrades since they have scenario upgrades and the bko does not. The bko has many upgradable parts. The A-5 is way bigger and is mostly cheap plastic. Also the Cyclone feed system isn't very reliable at 15 bps it double feeds and or jams a lot. A 05 BKO has pds and would be far better then A-5. Also take a look at the ion since its in your price range.
