I play at 2 different fields, one does not allow you to bring your own paint and the other one does.

I play at a field thats bring your own but they have awsome prices on diablo so most of the time i just buy it there. Also at aonther field i play sometimes, its field paint only and they charge like jacked up prices for crappy paint, and they have a different brand everytime i go there so its hard to know if the paint is gonna work in your barrel.

I play at two fields owned by the same company, you can bring your own paint, but they charge a $10 BYOP fee ... depending on who's running the sign in desk, they don't always charge it.

Most fields won't let you bring your own paint for 2 reasons.

1. Paintball fields are not exactly money making machines...they have to make you buy their paint, otherwise they have to charge insane field fees. One of the few places that these places make their money is on paint.

2. Insurance companies sometimes insist on it, or will give lower rates is you do. This prevents people from bring in doctored paintballs and such. I know this is a rare ocurance but insurance look at fields handing our their own paint as a reduction in risk.

I go to a field that u have to buy paint and it sux cause the prices are outrageous, people sneak paint in sometimes because the prices suck, But even tho the prices are outrageous i think it is wrong 2 bring in the paint. The fields don't make alotta money any way so y jip them of the money they make out of sellin paaaint. If u were in there place you wouldn't want people to do that 2 u????
