So here I am wanting a new marker. My choice so far are between the 05 Freestyle OR 05 Freestyle Pro. I'm wanting to get the Freestyle Pro, but compared to the original Freestyle is it really worth the extra 100 bucks?

I've read the reviews and the Pro got perfect, and the Freestyle only got 8.9. I compared the 04 version to the 05 and the 05 seems to have less bugs and got much better reviews. I just wanted to hear your guys opinions on my choice. I'm also getting into tourneys, but i'm pretty sure this marker would be good;)

The FSP had some problems with the barbs. It was prone to a lot of problems. I say look into the new FS7. It's pretty much the same price, and it takes the best of both FS and FSPs. It has the quick-strip bolt like the FSP, but it uses a manifold mount like the FS. Look on shootpaint.com. I think they're pre-orders right now.

Oh yeah, and the new milling is hot

If your willing to pay a little more money go with the new V7
it completely blows the FSP out of the water and is marginally better than the 05. not to mention it has some sleek milling on it for a change.

FreeStyle V.7 comes with these features:

Unlimited ROF
Autococker barrel Threads
Clamping Feed Neck
Illuminated Toggle On/Off Switch
PDS (Paint Detection System)
Clamshell Grip Frame
Dual regulated blow forward design
4 way adjustable trigger
Barrel, rail, and on/off asa included
Quick Field-Strip bolt when degassed
Firing modes (yet to be determined)

The V7 is based around the bolt system used in the FreeStyle Pro but it uses a manifold mount solenoid instead of a hosed and barb solenoid. The noids used in each marker are identical with the exception of the valve body itself. Since the V7 uses a manifold mount and the FSP uses a barb mount.

Get a v.7, It's worth it
