what is potting i saw a picture and it said potting is the way to go and i was wondering what it was the picture wasnt realy clear

Well I normally like to grow my ferns and aezaleas in pots, but I hear the best for roses is big open ground.

Are you sure it wasn't podding?
I've heard pods referred to as pots at my field.
Maybe potting is reloading your hopper while being attentative?

nope it was pottingand he didnt even pour the paintballs in he just kinda like through them up from the pod and tried to get them in his hopper

The brits call pods pots. Potting = reloading. Elementary stuff. :wink3:

:rolleyes: You newbs. I have heard hoppers being referred to as pots before. It's a somewhat older term. I guess "potting" is the act of refilling one's "pot" (hopper).

You said pods. I haven't heard pods being used, but I have definitely heard of hoppers being referred to in such a manner.

Pods... hoppers... same deal. ;)
But yeah, I've just heard pods called pots. Either way, potting means reloading, and thats all that matters.

And he's not tossing the paintballs into his hopper, he just got done pouring them into the hopper, and he pulled it away, which is why it looks like he's throwing them into the hopper.
