The other day, me and my team were outside practicing sliding and snap shooting etc. when a group of kids stopped and started to insult us by saying that we looked stupid doing all of this and such. We didn't listen to them and went on with our practice. This was until about 10 min. later when the same car pulled to a stop on the road about 15 feet away from us. This time though, the back window rolled down (they were driving a gold colored Chevy blazer) and out came one of the kids with his Tippmann. They shot about 15-20 shots at us, hit me in the shoulder, and hit my house about 5 times (thank god they were a bad shot). I was tempted to report them to the police after they sped away laughing at their own "joke". The only reason we didnt contact police was because we didn't want to give the community any more reasons for banning our great sport. The part that was the worst though, was that they clearly saw that me and my team mates were not wearing masks at the time, and they shot us anyway. this is the kind of stuff that gives paintball a bad reputation. vandalism and paintball don't go together, post what you think.

i would have lit up their car. All they got is tippmann's when you got higher ROF guns. Just light em up with their car, since they are noobs hope they fall on the floor all scared, then give em a nice lesson.

I don't get why you didn't call the cops...gang bangers don't call the cops after fights because they don't want the cops involved...you want that same image? If you are intelligent enough to get make/model/year/LP on the car and report it to the cops, you just did a service to the community, and I ask: what is a more lasting impression? Next time, use some common sense. I mean, come on, but if you are worried about a barrel of apples being deemed rotten, take out the rotten ones.

ok cadet2005, like pearlkobra said (he was there at the time) if we would've called the cops, they wouldve just done more stuff to us and my house later, and also it would've given paintball a bad rep.

I have a short temper, so knowing me, I probably would have ran after their car and jumped onto the back. A superb action sequence would then ensue..

Oh boy, the idiotic pool grows more and more. Now you fellas have a problem: you retaliate against these guys and they are smart enough to call the cops, then you no longer have any proof it was them that shot up your house. It is your word versus theirs, but if they play it smart, they can get you in the act of messing with their stuff, now that is vandalism, and you can bet it would not be good for any of you. Let's say they catch you messing with something of theirs and they don't call the cops, but they open fire on you after telling you to leave...well, now it potentially becomes justifiable use of force. Look, you are better off letting dead dogs lie for now, because if you go after these guys, now you look like gang-bangers and that is a crappy image for the paintball world to get even if it would only be a localized reaction. More importantly, you don't want to ruin your lives over something stupid and petty as this when you could have used logic and reason instead. Look, PM Jaster or APJUNKIE and ask them if they think that this is a good idea...they worked as cops (as did I) and they can tell you where you'll end up amigos.

I am recommending this thread be shut down to prevent the spread of violence you guys are condoning. The last thing we need is some 10 year old seeing it and taking somebody up on it, comprenden mis amigos?

while people are entitled to their own opinions, there are times where they are not appropriate, and should be kept to oneself.

ok, first of all if we do do anything back to them, its not gonna be paintball related. and they will never suspect that it was us, this group of kids who did it have a lot more problems to worry about, they are highly into drugs and therefore have a lot of people who dont like them either, so we are probably last on thier suspect list. also if we do anything, were not gonna be dumb about it, were not gonna get caught, even if someone did call the cops on us while we are doing it, they won't catch us, the cops are terrribe in our town, pm me if you want a funny example of how bad they are at finding people. and once its all done, theres no proof we did anything either, just like we have no proof they did the drive by on us.

also this thread isn't promoting violence. were not doing anything violent back to them. and we never mentioned it, if we did we were obviously joking.

Okay, let me give you a heads-up: I have stared face-to-face with a member of the Mexican Mafia and ID'd him as a suspect in a car burgalry. I live in San Antonio, a town where the Mexican Mafia is now starting to clear its ranks out looking for the snitch because of a string of busts in the city and where a bunch of city councilmen were busted for being corrupt. I understand you might think the cops are corrupt, but I doubt these guys would have the power to do it (buy off the cops)...trust me.

Secondly, Speedy is right. The 1st Amendment protects you so long as you are within the realms fo the Clear and Present Danger clause established by the Supreme Court...but this is an independently operated site, and they can determine what can and cannot be said. Don't believe me, ask the ACLU. My suggestion is before you try and get into a pissing contest here, take a moment to do your research.

Third, you are advocating retaliation, which is not the most logical assumption, particularly since you guys are A) apparently not the brightest bulbs on the tree and B) are dealing with guys with "drug connections." So the cops aren't going to be able to catch you you think, but at somepoint, a broken watch is right twice a day. You want to be that point? You think things run by suspect lists? No, they can figure it out. A neighbor witnesses calls it in and recognizes one of you...bam, busted. These guys recognize you and track you down...today it is paintballs, what are you goign to do if tomorrow it is a Mac-10? Huh? If you are dead, what good is it going to do you to retaliate then? Then what? Like I said, think, and like I said, this thread needs to be shut down...ASAP.
