View Full Version : Stolen field
Six Feet Under

No one has been out to the local store's field in about a month or so, and one of the guys that works there told me today when I was up at the store said that his friends and other people he knows have been driving by the place where the field is and they haven't been seeing it. It's someone else's property, but we have his permission and have had it for almost 2 years (to play there) so that's not why it's gone missing.
Then the place about 2 miles from my house, Adventure (something) has a pile of "blue balloon-looking things" this kid said... Our bunkers are blue\yellow and 2 years old so they're a little beat up. Joey said he's gonna go up there tonight and check it out and if they're our bunkers (we're the only field\anything that has an airball field in my town) he's going to call the police. If it was them, he knows who did it and if he finds out it was him they're going to have a "meeting." But that's really low, stealing a $3,000 airball field. You think someone'd notice it if the only one in town just "disappeared" and then "reappeared" somewhere else, being claimed as their own field?
Besides, the guys that own our store are both cops. Hmm... stealing from the police. Sounds like these guys are SMART!

It doesn't have to be in stolen because it's more of a story than anything else. Which means it should be in the story forum... but it really doesn't matter because general gets more hits.
I wonder why the guy didn't deflate them... Please don't tell me he stole the whole setup INFLATED.

If they catch the culprits, they should make them be the bunkers for a couple games:badboy:

Sorry, it's really late and I've spent the last 7 hours reading for Theology (Bible, Dante's Divine Comedy, etc.). That stuff starts to mess with you after a while.

It's Florida, it's like 10 degrees cooler during the winter so that's the best time to play down here. Too bad it only lasts a month or two.
The reason no one's been out there to play is because the guys that own the store are on PMI Factory and they practice every weekend or work their first job so they don't run the field.

Fields deflate the bunkers every day after their hours close. They deflate to the size of a medium-large box.

After ssetting up the field in the morning for 2 hours, and then taking it down in the hot sun, you don't want to make the process any longer by squeegeeing the ENTIRE field.

How the hell did you get your sup air field stolen? That's like saying 'screw hacking into Microsoft, let's just jack Bill Gates'
But hope you guys get your field back..

Any paint left on most bunkers will cause errosion. And bunkers aren't cheap.

I hate to laugh, if it happened to me I would be out for the kill, but to just steal it and move it somewhere else and say it its theres.....reminds me of when one of my neighbors had there chickens stolen by the people 2 houses down. I guess they thought they wouldnt notice their own chickens in some elses yard.

It's not MY field but I work up at the store sometimes, plus it's pretty much the only field I play at so it's "my local field\my field".
No news yet. I didn't play today, obviously, and I seriously doubt I will tomorrow. I might buy a Halo though.

well I can see how they did it ( if they were deflated then they could carry just about 3 bunkers per person but if they werent all they would need is a wagon to carry like 2 bunkers at a time ) ya know I would buy more bunkers leave em out for a night but stay in the bushes ( guns loaded:D ) and when they come light em up!!!!!! lol when I was like 11 I had problems with a certain bully and for revenge one night I went out and his bike was laying on the lawn so I got on his roof and my friend handed me the bike and I stuck it in their chimney:D :D :D

some friends and me stole this girls trampoline one time. she was moving, and had all of her stuff int he new house but she left her trampoline at the old house, we thought she didnt want it. so we talked my friends mom into driving us over there in her van, saying the girl said we could have it, and the mom helped us take it apart and bring it to my friends house and put it back together. we heard her talking at school a few days later that someone stole her trampoline. we ended up breaking it and throwing it away.
the end. funny you mentioned stealing trampolines.
bdaniel08
06-25-2005, 07:54 PM
You know... You could have just returned it back to the house. Breaking it is just plain stupid, those things cost a whole lot of cash.

we didnt break it on purpose, it was from all the hardcore jumping and tramp-boarding action that led to springs breaking and stuff.
