Check the "dead box"! (true story)

I was at a local 3-man tournament, and a team had eliminated the entire other team but didn't know it! They were shooting at bunkers, giving each other cover fire, etc. They even called for a paint check:laugh: and the ref laid on the ground next to the bunker that they were shooting at and watched it. They checked the dead box once and the guy who looked said there were only two players in the dead box! They finally looked again and the guy was like, "Hey, there's 3 in the dead box!" Everybody (who had been quietly watching and trying not to laugh) cheered. They ended up hanging the flag and winning. It was really funny, and it lasted like 3 minutes.

or something like that. it makes us all aware of the game.

LoL! The refs at my local indoor field always confuse us acting like there are more people left. So we all shoot the bunkers lol. Wish I woulda saw something like that in a tourney though!
