I know that this seems kind of insignificant, but its one of the few facts that I know about the odyssey markers.
Almost all of them have that port for "software updates". One of the things that can be done with that is that it can be set up to scroll custom text (like your name, or whatever) when you turn the gun on.
Afraid that I dont know much else about the software upgrades.

The odyssey's also come with some better options to them than their older brothers from dragun. Like a bps counter!

But we've got more people coming in for information on some of the other odyssey markers too, now that Dragun is out of the picture, and not that many of us really know too much about them, so trying to pool what we do know, in one place ;)

well, I posted this in another thread, but I guess it wouldnt hurt to post it here too.

Some people have problems with their rechargable batteries getting hot. Its actually not the battery that causes that, its the charger.
in that thread, Wulf1010 pointed out that you can go down to radioshack and pick up a charger that can fit for them. And I'll add that if you can find one that fits that has an IC chip in it, GET it. The IC chip will cut the flow of power into the battery when its full.

sorry to double post, but I just found something new.
Granted, I havent tried to do a comparison of the triggers that are in the Odysseys, vs the ones that are in the draguns. so I dont know if they are the same or not.

However, Zenitram has a three-way adjustable trigger advertised especially for odyssey 03 markers on their website. along with an lpr adaptor.

Thanks. Right now I am trying to find out if the 03m is COMPLETELY cocker compatible as Odyssey says they are. I am not sure about the back blocks and the valves. If anyone knows if either of these fit or not post or shoot me a pm.

cool, thanks for checkin up on it though, I am curious to see what rex does (even though i am very pissed at them cuz they blew me and my team off when they were supposed to come to NC and let us test their markers

Ya, Jenkins was supposed to get one for less than what they were going to retail them for, and him and I were going to give the guy(company rep) a review on it, but once Jenkins responded that he wanted a price on it and that he might actually do it he gave us an excuse and a pretty lame one at that. He said that he couldn't send one out because he had chicken pox, doesn't almost everybody get that when they're young kids? Im wondering if this, rascal getting put off and Jenkins getting put off could mean that because they ran out funds there may be no Rex. After all there hasn't been any new news on it has there?

they e-mailed me recently (in teh past few days) and told me that they are in taiwan repackaging and putting ups on the guns that they have bought the rigths to

I just think they are giving us all a load of crap adn arae gonna go under sooner than any of the others, and if this is the kind of thing they are going to do as a company, I hope they do

you guys all probably know this but the rpm wont run on CO2. My freind bought one and tried to run it on CO2 but it broke after about a case of paint. the reg was shot, and the gun tech said whoever wrote you can use CO2 in the manaul was not paying attention during the building. sorry if you already know this and i just wasted all of your time but i dont keep up on these forums.

how do you change the settings on a rpm? like the bps...it says in the grip is a selectable switch....but i dont have that..i have jumpers...help....

what about the odyssey rpm not running on C02? it should, working under maybe a different pressure or warmer weather conditions. it should run on C02 though

I ahve not played with this gun for a while, looking to sell it but cant remem how to shoot it,I guess.
I have charged the battery and have full CO2 but cant get gun to shoot.
Any info would be helpful and appreciated.
