Do RPS big balls work well in a .689 CP one piece barrel? Please let me know. Sorry about putting two threads up.

I dont see the correlation between kingman and barrels and paint.

I got a .689 teardrop and they work fine with it. Although the Bigball isn't verry good overall. It is ok but not the best for the price.

I havn't tried zap spank yet but I hear that it is very good.

Game face scorch I think is fairly consistent but not a great barrel match. A little small. Some people say that it doesn't matter that much though

Diablo Dusk I tried and it was small for the barrel but If I had my velocity where it should have been it probably would have been very good. However, I did have one of them break in my hopper.

Overall Barrel Forums recomend ZAP SPANK as the best bang for the buck and they get great reviews.

Don't forget X ball bronze They are supposed to be excellant as well.

This should have been in the barrel forum but everyone else already said something so I am not going to make a big deal out of it by flaming you.

I am sooooo E nice:rolleyes:

"why two threads? SPAMMER!!!! "

"wow "

What a bunch of useless spam. Don't want to be helpful? Here's a tip: don't post. It's that easy, honest! If you don't see the correlation then feel free to keep browsing this forum or go elsewhere. Nobody told you to spam this thread did they? Anyways, I will be moving this to right forum.

Spam...indeed. And he did apoligize for 2 threads.

I will use big ball if I must. It is made by RPS, one of the biggest paint makers around nad my favorite too. However, its size is very inconsistant. I know for a fact that a bag of 500 will contain balls ranging from .685-.695. This is not just a few baddies in the bag, pick up a handful of them and you'll see that the size varies greatly.

If you can pay the extra $5 and go with RPS/PMI premiums or switch over to 32* Team Colors. They are more accurate to the claimed .689 bore size.

also these things have a shelf life of about 30 days and after that you might as well call them paintcubes, i learned that the hard way

id recomend scorch or heat over big ball.its okay but always has a lot of dimples.

big ball works fine in my OTP barrel, but my rifled barrel eats them like crackbabies with candy! Doesnt always break on trget though, so be careful of that. I'd get Diablo Blaze or even midnight before I use big ball, though. They're waaaaay better, and not too much more.

I would say yes, the few cases that I went through did o.k. and I'm not a big ball fan at all. (still love RPS thou) Like they said its size in one bag varys greatly. There are other choices out there and the best thing to do is to try them out your self and see what works best for you. There are too many variables to go off of one persons findings to base what will happen with you.

yup:nod:. it's crazy how inconsistent the paint is. i too am a fan of RPS, and premiums are so much better.
