compressed air?

I've been playing around with the thought of switching to compressed air. (Of course now my expansion chamber i just bought won't do much.) Anyways, i have an air-compressor around the house that my mom uses for upholstery for staple guns and such. Anyways, i was wondering if you could fill up an air tank with an air compressor? It would sure save a hella lot on money.

A air compressor only goes too like 100 psi too 150.And the compressed air for a marker, the tanks are like 3000psi and there are ones out there now 4500 psi.
