none worth playing. there's a half life mod that's supposed to be ok, but the others like paintbrawl and ultimate paintball challenge are little more than time wasters.

You need Half Life (not 2) to play it. I personally like it since it's free and it'll be much better once 2.2a (2.3) comes out.

I can't wait for digital paintball on Half Life 2... that will be sweet. Maybe you can push bunkers with the advanced physics :)

If you have the xbox (guessing you don't since you didn't ask PBgames in general) there is Greg Hastings:Tournament Paintball. Offtopic: Is this game pretty accurate wise on the guns, equipment?

This USED to be a free game, but the practice games are still good.

Not really. The karni outperforms the DM5 (which is really a DM4), there are only 4 true highends availible to buy, there are other weird versions of most highends which are hardly accurate replicas. The timmy is slow as hell. The kicker: Its lasoyas ;)

No. In my humble opinion, both the Mac Dev Sonic Cyborg and the DM5 are much better than Karnivor. The timmys and shockers in GHTP are terrible. No gun will chop. The Low-end guns are pretty accurate...All the high-end guns bounce like a running lady with huge boobs.

For those of you who own GHTP:
During a game, be in the standing position.
Hold your marker over your head.
Peek (D-pad) in the direction of your marker.
You can see the handle of your marker, but there will be no airtank attached. :eyes:

Why waste pixels when you usually won't be seeing that part?

Well, I didn't care about the guns, since I won't be getting any of thoses. I was thinking more like the barrels, and the mask wise. Is it like that when you wear that type of mask, and is the barrel that accurate?

Heh, I borrowed Paintbrawl from a friend (worst decision of my life). It is HORRIBLE. You at least start with a PGP, but there's a flippin' paint grenade launcher, and a gun that shoots like 50 BPS, with a gravity hopper. So sad. My teammates got stuck in walls, my paintballs disappeared, I disappeared, I got my self out, etc.
Solution? Don't play this game. Hell, don't even look at it.

Not with 7/100 points from IGN I wouldn't.

In PB2X, there was an article with Red. He said it was an Xbox exclusive.

HL is a 7 year old game. Your PC will be able to handle it.

I explained in a previous thread about GHTP on why it would not work for PS2. I do not really care to repeat it so I am going to look for the thread.

The trigger setup that GHTP has for x box would not work for PS2. The right shoulder button that controls the shooting is pressure sensitive, and ps2 does not have any buttons similar to that on its controller. Yes, ps2 controllers have shoulder buttons but the pull on them is too light.
The game would have to be redesigned.
A person who posted after me said that you could just walk the two right shoulder buttons on the PS2 controller(and that person was good ol' Someday1189). What if you just wanted to use one finger and shoot slow? Having it set up so you would have to walk the shoulder buttons would not be practical.

Knowing his computer, im pretty sure it can't, and if it did, it would lag horribly. I have Half-Life, but have a crappy connection...No play for me :(

well at least i get some recognition around here. :dodgy:
on the walking issue you could just make both of the shoulder buttons active simultaneously. 2 buttons is just a nice-to-have. if you want to shoot with 1 finger press 1 button, if you want to walk use both. it really isn't that hard to have 2 fire buttons running at the same time, the game just listens for both and it would take 5 minutes to program a set of rules so it wouldn't allow you to push both buttons at the same time and get a double shot. it's really quite doable:)
on-topic: i don't know what a lot of people seem to be smoking but my only complaint for DPB2.2 is the low velocity. aside from that i have found virtually no bugs in it. weird:confused:.

LOL! He's right, though. I had a Karni, and got shot up by a team with Spyders. But, I hope the next one will be better.

Plus the "Dynasty Marker" and the Golden marker are both just Dynasty Shockers. Although, if you get a Dynasty player on your team and you look at his gun before the break or during the game at any point, he is holding an Angel.

 poo...ah well, I can just go outside and start shooting my neighbors 45 pound cat, that in the summer, sits outside on a leash connected to their doorknob. I swear, what's the point? Not like he's going to run away...or move for that matter... Rather dangle some meowmix infront of him and watch him sweat off the pounds by trying to move his hand.
45 pound cat>you
