Well, I have a Gen. 2 04 FreeStyle and i've noticed I am getting horrible air effeciency. Out of a full 3000 fill I can get about 1 hopper and 2-3 pods maybe. Anyways, I am leaving next week to go to Florida to play a enduring scenario game. I am curious what I would need to buy to fix this?

Right now i'm looking at buying a CP reg, would that be my best choice? What else could help with this problem i'm having?

a reg won't help with the problem you're having.

an inline like a CP or sidewinder as well as an STD or SP microrock LPR will help consistancy though

to get better efficiency you will need to play with your settings (your dwell on your board) or get a HE bolt. right now the only option for a HE bolt is ICD's HE which isn't all that wonderfull for the $110 plus shipping....

for now, play with your dwell and wait for a nicer HE kit to come out.

Well, I went from a Dwell of 16 to 12....that should help a little bit.

Well that isnt quite the case:) A Gen 1 or Gen 2 marker without HE bolts in them I can mod to get somewhere between 1200-1700 shots on a 68/45 fill:) You are more than welcome to ask Sabo or ImpYa what they thought of my Bolt kit for their marker

I am presently working on a design that should raise this number even higher and possibly allow this kit to be installed into a HE marker as well.

It never will be but that doesnt mean I cant do a 1sy 2sy type of deal for those that arent looking to mod out the back block for a ICD HE bolt.

heh, you know full well i would have had it done if i hadn't decided to sell my freestyle. :D

All I will have now is webcam pics but tomorrow i'll have real pics with a digi cam. Overall, it looks wicked, I just think the grips are a little brittle. :mad: I put a dent in one because my allen wrench brushed it..lol.

The grips weren't too brittle. I had my Dwell down to 12 but I was getting major velocity changes such as 193, 256, 270 so I put it on 14 and it's on 273,275,270.

Thanks for the help. Anyways, I still wasn't getting the greatest effeciency...but I guess there's nothing I can do right? I leave Friday for Florida and I really don't want to have to keep going back and forth to the proshop every 500 shots..lol.
