I heard that Cousins is opening up a new indoor field on Long Island. I heard it would be able to capcitate 15v15. So No more high velocity 10V10 on a field ment for 3v3. If you have any more information on this please post it.Please post pictures to if you have them.

Only info i have on it, is that it is going to be in Happauge and will be opening soon.
I ve also heard that it will actually be 2 speedball fields back-to-back that they can open up into one huge field.

Cant wait to try it out !

The most they ever fit at HV is 12 vs 12. I went on a saturday one time w/ a b-day party. Since no one was playing me and my cuz played 1 vs 1. Then the rental gun a i had to use since my gun wasnt working broke down.

That new field sounds awesome... they better hve BYOP and cheap entree fees. 25 for BYOP is no better than just using field paint.

When i play around here, i usually go out to Coram at Paintball Long Island.
For the same $25 you get a full 8 hours out in their countless number of fields for some real good woodsball action.

My heart has always lied in woodsball.

Isnt it 20 bucks for coram? Plus the field paint prices are high. PBLI only has BYOP in the summer.

You're right, Mac. Good catch.
And yes, the field paint is expensive. $100 a case at the field, and $90 in the stores.

I didnt know you can buy field paint and the cousins down the road and use that! Thats pretty nifty. How muh paint would you use in the 8 hours of play? And ho fast/often do you shoot?

Depends on what im using (check my sig.).
If I go with my 98, i tend to use significantly less paint than with my Imp. Last time i went all day with my Tippmann and a little over half a case (maybe 1200 balls) was about what i went through.

That doest seem too bad. So yuo spend like 60-70 bucks on a outing... would you say its worth it?

Depends.
I think it is worth it, but can get pretty expensive to do every weekend or so.
I go about 4 times a year or so, so for me i think that its worth it.
If you havent gone, and enjoy woodsball, i highly recommend you check it out. They have some of the best woodsball fields ive ever played.

Ive heard Oceanside Paintball was shut down...
Staten Island paintball i really wouldnt consider Long Island...

This kinda sucks fer us islanders, huh? Guess me and my friends will just have to stick to playing in my woods until something new comes around.

Dude there is still HV, PBLI and the new one out in two weeks.

I played HV last thursday, and again, 15 vs. 15 the entire night.
Now i think thats cool once or twice, but it was 4 hours of absolute chaos.
Cant try to come up with any strategies, 3 or 4 men behind each bunker, and i was even getting shot from behind by my own teammates !!

That was probably the last time i go there. Ill just wait for the new one to open.

Yea i heard it was gonna open this weekend too.
But do you know how many people, besides yourself, are planning on being there this weekend?

I might go gearless, just to check it out and see what all the hype is about.

Well, my thinking was to go to HV next weekend when every one is at Cuzins... hope it turns out that way.

I just played at High Velocity for my first time, and it was fun. It was last Wednesday, so it was somewhat crowded. Still fun though, and a lot of action.

Hopefully the Cousin's field is cheap like High Velocity (considering you can bring your own paint and only pay $25).

Also, where is PBLI. I'm going to research it now.

Thanks
