Yes it does. It has a very wide feedneck.

You can also get the ricochet r-5

yeah it has the cyclone hopper that can reach 17 bps.there are 3 after market hoppers.the ricochet r-5(the absolute best),the app loader(crap),and this new app big daddy hopper (something like that)that holds 300+ paintballs.

i would get the r-5 because of the lower profile and deflection engineering.

there is a rumored cyclone upgrade that will raise the bps capabilities of the cyclone.

I personally don't think it was a good move by Tippmann, because I know a lot of people don't like the concept, and you can't change it (Much) since there's only some aftermarket A-5 hoppers. I think it would be cool if there was some sort of way you could get better hoppers on the A-5.

There's an adapter somewhere that allows you to use Revvy's and such on the A-5, totally negating the purpose of buying it.

im praying a few new hoppers come out some time soon.the r-5 is cool, and im getting one,but a few more choices(im not buying a 300 app hopper) would be nice.

well you can get 3 different size stock hoppers and the 3 aftermarket ones so that makes a total of six.

Maybe I'll try to make a hopper like that one. At least I could try(looks difficult).

next time you have a full case of paint...hold it in front of you and then run about 20ft. not for nothing but i think that setup would definitely be waaaaayyy to cumbersome to be playin' with or even trying to snap left or right!

Actually I'll bet it is fairly simple. Looks like some PVC piping which is easy to work with and inexpensive. Hardest part would be finding the right size to fit onto the feedneck. Looking closely at the picture, it looks like he used some rubber tubing to go to the feedneck, I can see the hose clamp at the bottom.

it's definitely a simple thing to make...but just not worth it, you'd be sacrificing way too much just to wield that abortion!...i'd rather re-load a few times to make up for it!

John Sullivan

yeah reloading a few times is way better than carrying a case all day long.
