hey, i was wondering if there were any players in the beijing area...

my friends and i were simply appauled at the lack of safety and the run down equipment at the fields around beijing that we are planning to open up a field, Revolution Paintball it might be called, around august its small at the moment, but we are hoping to expand later on if the sport takes off..

were planning on opening up a store stocked with whatever those national paintball supply store packages provide us with.. rentals are going to be custom 98's i beleive.

i was wondering, do any of you think that a major company, like dye or empire or something would be intersted in sponsoring a team or even the field itself?

and any tips on running or maintaining a field would be great

thats sounds like a GREAT idea. i went down there a few years back and i didnt see a feild. i didnt know if paintball even existed in china. i would really like to see a well run field there. tippmann 98 would be a good choice but you might want to get some high end guns for sale/rent that you could let people dry fire/try out or something. PB isnt that big there i assume and you want to let everyone who's interested know that there are nice guns out there not just custom 98s.

also i went PB in thailand. sniper zone 2. and they didnt even chrono.

yea weve got the rental package from nps, 30 98's, 30 rental armor masks, 2 ref masks, 2 chronos, and 30 20 oz tanks. Were selling ions, most markers made by 32 degrees, some v force masks, jt masks, 9-12 ounce tanks, some pistols, packs, remotes etc. A plan is in motion to get one of the local cell phone company giants, such as nokia, to give us sponsorship money for a full airball field. So far everything has been running smoothly, weve even got nitro!

sounds awesome. has the sponsership gone through? whats the feild gonna be called. and what part of beijing?

no, its still in its infancy, so were gonna wait and see how it does before we call up any sponsorship deals. probably next spring thatll happen. its gonna be called point blank paintball, or pb squared. its gonna hopefully be in the northern part of beijing, shunyi district, a mere 5-10 minutes west of the airport. its been doing great so far, already sold a number of wraths and ions! also were hoping to have a tournament going on soon. so maybe the fields home team (team offensive) can finally participate in an organized tournament!!
