I need to know what the difference between A/S CO2 and HPA is in relation to preformance of the marker. I know that HPA is more consistant the normal co2 but shouldnt A/S make the marker shoot more consistantly? I would also like to know what these palmers stablizers are and how mcuh they cost and if they are worth getting.

Stabilizers are regs made by Palmer Pursuit Shop. Dpending on what type of stabilizer you want, they can be mediocre in price to expensive. HPA will perform better than A/S CO2.
(faster recharge, more consistant, etc.)

An a/s will help your co2 tank be more consistent but there's no comparison with a n2 tank. A palmer's stabilizer is like the best reg for co2 and THAT plus the a/s will help your compete with compressed air. The main reason I really don't like co2 is how much the temerature affects it.

A/S wil help make the gun more consistent....on the level of HPA? Probably not. not to mention you can anti-siphon a tank all you want, but temprature is still going to affect the marker. In lower temps, you may experience lower velocity, in higher temps, you'll start shooting hot.
And the palmer is a regulator, pretty much built form the ground up to handle Co2. it helps keep the perssure consistent regardless of temprature. Downside is it's about $100. And a good HPA tank can be had for about $150.

I'm pretty sure the reason that they made anti-siphon was so that liquid CO2 didn't get into the gun. Because of that, the CO2 has to expand in the tank instead of an expansion chamber (if your gun has one). Therefore, if it is cold out, your gun will not be very consistent AND your gun will have low velocity, but if it is warm, and or hot outside, your gun should shoot consistently and have a faster recharge rate.
