I have a feeling HPA is going to win.

More importantly Hpa will give you accuracy, especially with a reg plus it and a reg can be transfered to any other gun(unless its reverse threaded i.e. defient)

HPA, it's what you breathe. Don't let it down, it needs you.

Using HPA will have more benefits than a new barrel.

When I upgraded the barrel on my old 98 I saw very little difference in performance, but when I upgraded to nitro the difference was immense. That's just my experience anyways.

was the barrel you bought crappy? Also you know you need that paint to barrel match, but id say HPA.

14 inch J&J ceramic, definitely not crappy. There was some difference, but even close to the difference nitro made.

well they would be doing 2 different things probably. The barrel might give you slightly more accuracy, and possibly less breaks, while the HPA would give you better efficiency, less wear on the interals, and more consistency.

do i need to have a reg to use hpa, and if so does an imagine have a reg in it?

Your gun determines whether or not you need a regulator, it doesn't matter what type of gas you use(in that sense). I am pretty sure any high output tank would be good, I would try and pick up an adjustable tank used, but that's just me.

You don't need a reg for an Imagine, just get a nice fiber-wrapped preset tank.
