Well I stripped them out and am wondering what I should do. I figured out that only the first few threads are bad because when i dont put the gasket the screws grip. Soo?
well normally, you could get it retapped, but when re tapping you generally make a bigger hole. since the screws go through the holes in the noid, i dont know if you can get a bigger hole to work. um, i dunno what to do in that situation. but im not a tapping expert. for that one i would call SP.

See if you can buy longer screws. If you can't find any exactly the right size, you can buy extra long ones and cut/sand them down to the right length.

unless you want to drill the hole in the upper solenoid to accomodate the screw heads to allow you to screw them in deeper, then you would want to call sp or go to a hardware store and pray you find longer screws of the same size.
other than that, you would have to get a larger hole drilled in the body, and a threaded insert glued into the hole. that would be costly.

Could just duct tape your noid to the body

I called sp and they told me $50 to drill the holed and put a plug in and drill and tap the plug but they said they werent sure if it would ork and if it didnt it would still be $25. I also thought about drilling the notch for the screw head. I think I will try that now. Thanks for the help.
