Im thinking about getting a new barrel and i was wondering how long should i make it. I play on a about 50 yard field with bunkers. Sometimes I play on a about 80 yard field with a fort in the middle.

16 is a waste.12 and 14 are the best.although everyoone whos used one seems to love the 8 in bigshots.

the size of the field doesnt make any difference to the length of the barrel. since anything past 12 inches doesnt affect the accuracy. 12, 14, 16...its all preference. anything more than 16 is a waste tho.

really, if your unsure go with the 14.

It really cant be a mistake. You get the mobility of a 12 and the ability to push against a bunker of a 16.

Its the best of both worlds.

Is your gun high pressure or low pressure? High pressure guns only need about 6-8 inches for the shot to be more effective (less air needed, shorter length, less weight). Low pressure guns need about 12-14 inches to get the full use. This is with the idea of using the least amount of air to get the full effect.

Read that over, then look at what you feel is good for you.
