I'm thinking about getting a Ion,

and I'm kinda short on money..so do you think it would be a good idea to order off of Ebay?

Has anyone done this and been happy with what they got?

(sorry if this is in the wrong place)

I wouldn't buy it on Ebay unless it's like $50 brand new or something. Buy it from your local Proshop or an online store with a good reputation. You should support your local paintball stores anytime it's possible.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a new gun off eBay. I've purchased just about every paintball product I own off the there without issues. You can get a much better deal on an ION of an eBay store than a normal online store.

You can do it with Rseeecks (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=92623)[/singing like Ebay's commercial]

I bought my e-Force off ebay and my suggestion is that you only buy guns from and Ebay store that has over 95% customer satisfaction. The deals are hella good and many of the guns will still come with a full warenty.

I get almost all my paintball stuff from ebay...including my Ion. It's a lot cheaper than paintball shops. Just make sure the seller has A LOT of positive feedback (100 or more) and check out the shipping charge too. sometimes they will sell something at a low price and charge a to for shipping to make up for it. good luck

Also make sure that the person you are buying from is a power seller and has no strikes against there acount. Its always good to read some of the feedback so that you know what the seller is like. All and all go for eBay!

You should buy it somewhere that will take it back if there is a problem, or will atleast fix it for free. I don't know of many Ebay sellers that will give you that kind of service, but your local proshop probably will.;)

You will eventually regret the egg. I have, after having to replace a shell, broken battery door, and lid. I'm going on my 3rd lid now, and yes, i abuse my hoppers to no extent. My revvy stood up to me though.

You just have to be careful about what you buy and who you buy it from on ebay. If somebody has 1500 positive feedback, chances are they are legit.

Read the scams sticky at the top of this forum, and remember the most important part; If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't true!

I bought everything I have off eBay except my trigger and hopper and I sincerly wish I had bought them off eBay. The person I bought my Pilot from had 1 feedback and it was somthing he bought meaning he had never sold anything on eBay. This isn't a good idea of course but you don't have to be so shallow about eBay it's safe. My Pilot had nothing wrong with it and I couldn't be happier paying such a low price for somthing that costs way more.

Most of the time you can get a good deal off of eBay. However, in this case, why not hit up RCXPaintball here on PBReview. He's had some great deals on Ions.
