Ive seen advertisements for dirt cheap factory refurbushed guns but the low prices make me wonder what the quality would be of these second hand guns? Is it really a good idea to get these guns or should is it better to buy brand new?

My imagine was refurbished... it had some scratches, but it works fine. Normally they come with a 30 day warranty against defects, so just make sure it works out of the box.

I took all the anno off so you can't even see the scratches though :P

Refurbished is definitely the money wise way to go. Just make sure the distributor is trust worthy, and it comes with a warranty.

What is usually the problem that makes them get refurbished? Is it always internal?

usually just guns that are old in stock that get sent back for new parts, people send back that they dont want or for whatever reason, or are blemished and stuff like that. Usually they work good...if on a major budget they are the way to go.

I bought a Refurbished TES, and you can't even tell it's refurbished. Definatly go with refurbished markers if you are tight on money. and www.paintballgear.com is definatly the best site to get them at, thats where i got mine:)
