First off, the Autococker 2000 and 2001 are practically the same gun except for minor differences. But I would say the Autococker 2000/01 because it works well on CO2 and is just as fast as an Automag and more accurate.

well,, I have a 01 cocker and i like it alot. I'll go ahead and tell you, it is much easier to get used to a mag trigger than a cocker. Ive had mine for about 2 months now and still short stroke on the cocker and will double feed or chop a ball. Plus they are very meticulous about the way they are timed. IF not timed right,,you might as well be done for the day...The mag is much MUCH smaller and lighter,,and less to tinker with..My next gun will be a classic. Mag does not like C02. I like them both!!!!

I agree with the results of the poll so far. 20 votes 8 for mag and 8 for vtl feed a/c. The mag is very easy to maintain and works very well. However, if you are into high maintenance but into high performance the cocker is great. That VTL feature is an excellent addition to the A/C

Autococker is the best for your money because they run very well on co2 without any extras.

I found that, when I owned a Mag, there was too LITTLE to do to it. I would sit around, bored, staring at it wishing there was something to tinker with. Now that I have a cocker, I have plenty to mess around with. I can adjust the trigger pull, timing, etc. to my liking. It gives ya something to do on them rainy days :O)

I'm partial to the mag, cause that's what i own. Haven't used a cocker, guess what i voted for:)
If you thinking about getting the vert feed cocker, you COULD go with the standard feed mag and upgrade to the Z-body right away. It'll cost about the same, Vert cocker-500
Z-body mag-530.

BUT you would still have to get a barrel and air attachments for the mag.

Or you could go with the vert feed mag for 550, ready to go outta the box

I got the prices from BBT, you maybe able to get the marker you choose cheaper somewhere else.
