Ok... How many people here when they run out of paint or air they call themself out?

Most everyone does

Which ticks me off...

I'm a newb... only played 5 times and most people don't take me seriously

But really... if you run out of air use your body for a distraction... tell your teammates where they are... pretend to do the dead man's walk and surrender some enemys...

If you run out of paint... shoot air... scare the enemys... most people can't tell if you are shooting air or shooting paint...

(The two stories)

I only carry maybe 100-150 rounds in my revolution... but after running out of paint alot recently I'm gonna use my harness.

Anyway... I was playing at splat attack... and they opened up two fields... the main one and the one to the right... huge game... 3 medics per team... about 40 peopel per team... anyway

I ran out of paint from covering my team fast... I saw about 5-6 pro players in the back wasting paint with their auto cockers and 6 pod harnesses ... I asked if I could have some... and they're like... no paint cost money... so I asked around and most novice players only had hoppers and maybe a pod or two... but weren't willing to share... so I was stuck witha 80% full co2 tank

My team's last medic dives into my bunker and asks for cover... he was a good pro... he helped the team... I said I was out... he checked his pods... HE WAS OUT... crap... so instead... I decided to do something idiotic.. but fun... ok so while he sorta crouched behind me... I shot air as fast as I could to scare the enemy's while my medic got up to a large bunker... 7-8 people who were hit and needed a medic...

They were healed... and we rushed... it was AWESOME we all knew where they were... and we all ran as fast as possible and surreneder the whole enemy team / bunkered them (10-20 foot surrender rule)

The next scenario... co2 = bye bye

Well new game... 4 corners... on the main field... I was on the road with a well organized team... along with some angels... we had defense team (including me) and offense... well we got rushed by the the other team pretty fast... we sorta did nothing until I dove into a bunker on the road and started snap shooting... well sorta... and then my friend "Pump Masta Mike... aka Koreanyo" came up and helped... he has a maverick and is pretty good with it. anyway I ran out of co2 like really fast... so I just decided to communicate with my team and make stupid moves... I told guys I had perfect shots on the enemys... and I did... perfect... but I was out... I asked to borrow my friends pump... he let me get one shot... and it missed the guys goggs by like a centimeter... the guy saw me and shot... right smack in the goggs... so I handed the gun back to Pump Masta Mike and walked off... Mike shot the guy about 3 seconds later... and well we lost the game because those pro's with angels... broke balls in their barrels... their first and only game their... they had 6 pods and a squeegie... why didnt they do it on the field... I dunno but they were jerks =)

I'm not saying anyone know owns an angel or autococker is a jerk... but I hate it when newbs go out and buy an expensive gun... I got a spyder classic... owns all =)

anyway

WHAT YOU SHOULD READ AND REMEMBER!!!

1.) Paintball is a mental sport
2.) The Paintball marker is just a tool
3.) Your body and mind are what paintball is about
4.) Run out of paint or co2? ask around then make dumb decisions...
5.)In Rec... don't waste more than a hopper per game... I play about 10 games a day... thats a case of paint... I use maybe 0-50 shots per game... 500 total

Thx all

just to tell you, before i got my current gun, i ran out into the field and got a really good bunker in front of me. there was a guy thirty feet away half standing behind a tall bunker, but the bunker was facing another direction so i had a picture perfect shot. ........................ i fired............ nothing came out, and he saw where i was and fired back. i tried firing again and again, but the balls weren't falling into the chamber area. i took of my hopper and checked the elbow and efverything that had to do with loading pballs. i lost about 20 balls cause i was doing it as fast as i could, but i could,'t figure it out. anyway, i didn't call myself out or anything, i moved up and laid down "cover air" for my team maates to move closer i finished the game alive and finally found the stoopid safety feature that gun had.

lesson......... KNOW YOUR GUN!!!!!!!!!!
