I recently started crusin these boards and noticed a lot of people don't know about this so I thought perhaps I'd throw it up here.
If anyone has anything of this type thats not listed, please add it on :)
Hopefully a mod may make this sticky...easy access for online shop info
www.predator-paintball.com - Cheapest ANS products ($80 for a genx reg!)
www.copaintball.com - Match prices
www.888paintball.com - Match prices + 10% off (Match predator and get it for $72 :D )
www.g3pb.com - GREAT store for parts
www.skanline.com - Big selection, CHECK for availability, they dont like to tell you
www.bbtpaintball.com - Same problems as skanline
www.paintballgear.com - Huge selection, decent prices, good service
www.planeteclipse.com -High shipping (in UK) but great price for some things, currently sale on J&J 2pc $50
www.thepaintballstore.com - Free shipping
www.piratepaintball.com - Same as thepaintballstore, different name *NOTE* there are about 5-6 stores that are basically the same as thepaintballstore.com with different names, and amazingly enough different prices...but easily identified by the same web "style" and are all located in the same warehouse (yet they have different phone numbers, but same address  )
These are just the stores I've dealt with, anyone has more to add please do.
For all you guys searching for the lowest price, I find that the price match from 888paintball.com gives the best, unless you live close enough to the other stores for the shipping to counteract this, make sure to check that

Well, Ive had my experiences with most of these, so here's my take on them.
Predator Paintball is very good for autocockers, seeing as how they have good ANS prices. They also provide a very decent overall selection, and reliable service.
Skanline only order here if it is your absolute last resort. The horror stories Ive heard, along with my own, make them notable for horrible cutomer service. They just expect people to be happy with what they give you. Keep in mind they dont include any return address or contact info in the box shipped, so you have to go to their website to find their customer service number. Caveat Emptor.
Paintball Gear.com has some amazing reliability. When they tell you something will arrive on your door to the hour, you know their doing something right. Really nice service, a great selection, and a purty site.
The Paintball Store has a difficult to manage website, but if you find exactly what you're looking for, in a package, anticipate it missing something minor...like an elbow. But they'll send you one if you call, which was cool. Also, be warned, they use those styrofoam penuts that are so damn annoying.
Those are my experiences. Also, keep in mind that there are some scam(line) places online. So always check to see if anybody's actually successfully ordered from a site before ordering.

www.countypaintball.com - best overall online store, great prices, excellent service. makes you want to return business. UPS Shipping
www.g3pb.com - has many items, lots of cocker stuff, good - great prices on most items, fast cheap shipping (USPS), phone orders only, but very friendly and NEVER a problem.
www.animalpaintball.com - great jerseys at great prices, carries many other items as well, lots of angel stuff, Fed-Ex shipping, very friendly on the phone, defineatly reccomend.
well, those are pretty much the only shops i will buy from for now, if none of those stores have it, then i would think of buying something else.

or for the cheapest place, paintballwatch.com and just click on what you are looking for. brings up all the cheap places. but for quality and service, paintballkingdom.com and countypaintball.com rule.

I have had good expierience with:
www.pbgear.com -order came in successfuly with no damage and on time.
I have had bad expierience with:
www.bbtpaintball.com - terrible customer service, ship wrong products, and they don't tell you if something that you ordered is backordered or not.

Just remembered...
www.acepaintball.com
They got good prices (especially on paint) and are a division of ace hardware, so I'd suppose they are trustworthy, haven't dealt with them yet tho

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Thats really funny. But seriously, I have heard nothing good about Skamline's Customer Service. They treated me like ****, accused me of lying and altering emails (which I have proof that I did not) and then yelled at me. I then refered them to my mother, who happens to be a court judge, and they yelled at her as well, and hung up on her, refusing to answer any questions on the matter.
They are not a well run business. I know of many businesses with better prices, better customer service, and overall a better selection.
If you are looking for a store in Southern California, I would suggest XS Sports. They have knowledgable gun techs, and are always very helpful. If they dont carry what you want, then they'll order it for you.

When I called them up to ask if I could do that (no sense in paying their insane shipping prices when I live less than 10min from them) they said that they had no store....just a warehouse
Did it open up recently? and where is it?

IF they have it in stock. It's been 12 days since I ordered something that "usually ships in 5 days", and it's still not in stock. In retrospect, I would have rather paid the $7 for UPS ground.

Its called beach city paintball. They try not to let each other know that they are the same. They will actually lie to your face about it. You can hear them talking to customers in the back though. I dont have a problem going there. They have alot of the new stuff when it comes out and have the same prices as online which is less than most pro shops.

Well www.acepaintball.com sells marbs for $60/case but they charge decent shipping prices.
I went to paintballdeals.com and they charge $15 shipping for 1 case of paint...
I currently buy all my paint from www.thepaintballstore.com, they might not have the cheapest price by the case but if u spend over $50 u get free shipping and that usually ends up being cheaper
found a new pball store too
www.e-paintballoutlet.com - they only seem to carry impy stuff tho

Big boy toys is the worst...
Clueless rude employees with attitudes. They don't answer email. They sent me an order I had CANCELLED because thay hadn't shipped it 2 weeks after the got it. But they did CHARGE me the day after they received the order. The package that they sent (by mistake) is missing 3 of the 4 items I was charged for. I ordered 6 items! These jerks couldn't do a worse job if they tried. Order elsewhere! BBTpaintball.com should wither and die!

www.paintballprices.com - supposed to compare prices. That would be cool if the prices where actually right.
www.paintballwatch.com - same thing, all the prices listed are wrong.

PAINTBALLGEAR BABY YEEEEE HAAAWWWW! This place is where I go for everything paintball. They are the most reliable website I have ever been to(paintball or non-paintball) when i comes to shipping, they're soo great! They have a superb selection and the prices are beautiful. That site is definitely the best paintball sales website on the net, as far as I'm concerned.

Paintball Inc.-Bought a Bluez pack from them when they were national paintball supply. Sent the wrong size belt, but I sent the belt back and they sent me the right size belt. Shipping took about 2 days.
Also bought a V-Force Shield goggle system from them recently. Took about a week to get to me cause they had to ship it from their California warehouse to Texas, which is where I live.
Overall, a good company to deal with, don't have any major complaints :)

Hmm...I went over there to look for a V-Force Shield goggle system and paintballgear.com was $10 more than Paintball Inc. ($59.95 vs. $49.95@Paintball Inc.)
Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking Paintballgear.com or anything since I haven't ordered from them, just stating what I observed.

I don't know why some many people bash BBT. I ordered my Xtra from them with a bunch of other stuff. When I called them to ask a question they were very friendly and helpful. I got my marker etc. on time with everything there.
Not the cheapest in price but will match price. Just thought someone should stand up for them.
coyote
01-24-2002, 09:07 AM
Why?
We bash them because they have done a poor job with a lot of our transactions.. I have a thread going entitled "Big boy toys... rotten service" there are more than 1 or 2 gripes from other ballers on it. I guess they manage to get 1 order right once in a while. They put a charge on credit card a soon as they could but they hadn't shipped my order yet. They still hadn't shipped it over a week later when I called them. Last week , after cancelling that order, a package showed up at my doorstep. There was an invoice in it for a barrel, a spring kit, and 2 cup seals. There was only a barrel in the package! My original order included a 2 autococker Q.R. pins too. They can't even screw up right!

 Dang! That is pretty bad. I must be one the chosen few who were destined to get good service from BBT. One wierd thing about my order. We received the my stuff before they chared the credit card(i'm sure)

Hey Clock
Back up a page on the general forums and there is a thread I started titled "Big boy toys...rotten service". These guys do a poor job at interenet sales. I used to work for an online media company. My job was to take care of the service and shipping problems. I would have fired everyone at BBT. As many stupid mistakes as these guys make it shocks me that they are still in business.

Good idea there
I have to give props to G3. I placed an order on a Monday afternoon and got everything I ordered that Thursday. The dude even put me on hold to check and make sure they had 2 of the part I needed. Good guys, great selection, decent prices.

Interesting, isn't it? I could setup an online store, post that policy, and send you a VL Hopper instead of your shiny new Angel LCD.
^Psycho^Skillz^
02-18-2002, 08:35 PM
I had forgotten about this thread :)
I suppose that you could send a hopper instead of an angel, but I highly doubt that would hold up in court.
Even tho noone cares...
as usual I recently had more good buys from g3pb,
but www.actionvillage.com is a mixed bag. Sometimes they send it to you perfect, and other times it takes them 3 months to stock an item.... (ordered jersey for xmas around dec 5th, got it 3 days ago, feb 15)

Can we just make this into a sticky? That way we don't have that many "Is this store good?" or "Don't buy from here" threads.
Just keep your review of the store informative. NOT like ....
The Good: Everything!
The Bad: Nothing!
Conclusion: Buy here!

yeah I you know when Bigshot's first went out of stock?
I ordered one from paintballgear, and it took them a month to tell me they were wrong in telling me they had it...
But I just ordered paint and a 12v revy, and tey came fine (with a free elbow also) :)
