What are some of your strongest memories with your dragun/odyssey marker?

ok, just something for something a lil bit different. We've all had some experiences with our draguns or our odysseys that have really stuck with us. Some of um good, some of um bad.
I figured it might be an interesting change of pace to share some of um.

One of the most common ones for me, is getting asked "What kind of Timmy is that?"

well their a few good and a few bad. The worst one was yelling at the odyssey tech after he lost my gun after two months of it being in the shop. the best ones gotta be outshooting and bunkering a dynasty shocker.

oh man! two months! yeah....that would REALLY suck. sorry about the bad luck on that one.
yup yup, always love it when our guns outshoot something that costs three times as much! yup yup :)

I think right now, I think the worst memory with mine, was when I didnt have the ASA set far enough back for the tank to scew in far enough, and it dropped out of the gun and fell on my bare toes! OUCH.
meh....and that aftermarket bolt shooting out of it and hitting me in the mask.
Its only been used at a field with a lot of newbies, so just about everything that its gone up against was rental tippys, or a couple of woodsballers with tippman's.

My best memory with my TES was when I bunkered someone for the first time. I was behind a stone wall he was behind a big tree like 30 feet up the hill, after 10 minutes of shooting at each other I got so frustrated that without thinking I leaped over the stone wall, ran up to the kid shooting my TES like mad, popped around the edge of his bunker and...........he was reloading. I let off a 3 shot burst and then got nailed by someone behing him, who I had shot 4 times before but each time my pos paint bounced off him. Still felt good to have bunkered someone.

My worst memory...was when I was getting bunkered, and when I went to snapshoot the pin on the bolt must have gotten loose and the bolt flew out and hit me in the mask. Needless to say I got owned.

the best time with my TES was probably today the first two games we played I got Everyone on the other team out the third game I bunkered someone and the rest of the day was just awesome
not to mention when the day was over in a 1 on 1 game I turned the white and black JT symbol on this guys jersey completely pink

the worst time with my TES was when I first got it and the first hopper through it I found out the sear was out of adjustment and I had to send my new gun back to the factory

oh and you guys aren't the only one that have been hit in the face with an aftermarket bolt

how big were the teams?
The last time that I went, it was me and Bellicose at an underground field. There was mostly just us, some other guy a lil older than me, two teenagers, and a bunch of kids. it was a 6 vs 6 match, and I happened to see somebody go running past me, into shelter behind one of the support pillars. (Big cave, big sections of it that go from floor to ceiling, to help keep the ceiling up). well anyway, I creep around there, checking to make sure that nobody was left, back the way he came from. I figured I could get him from behind. I pop a look around the pillar and there's THREE of them right there!
ALL of um looking forward, and NONE of them watching their six. I just stuck my TES around the wall and yelled SURRENDER!
HAHAHAHA I just remember seeing three sets of eyes come around, and pop wide open, as six hands went up into the air!!!

ACK! yeah, sending a brand new gun back would really be a bad day :(

Another memory: Another game on the same day with my new TES, my whole team goes to one side of the field and I sprint down the other...flank their whole team, they didn't even see me they had no cover I just lit them up.

yup yup. ended the match with a three man simultaneous elimination :D
They had the table right next to ours, so after we all got off the field, this one red head kid, he's grinning and wagging his finger at me. telling me about how bad he's gonna get me for making him surrender like that. (playing around, not being spiteful about it)

people were really staring when I had my co2 tank in and the reg was hot from sitting in the sun so I decided to shoot of about 20 or thirty shots to cool the reg down

the guy next to me wanted to shoot it he couldn't believe how easy it was to walk it

yes me and the shredder have had alot of good times this past year and 4 months
this is cool too

one time I was playing at a field and this guy came up to me with his older tricked out angel and asked to use my TES
so I said alright and he starts shooting it as fast as he can get it to rip and he has this huge grin on his face
and when I asked him how it shot, he looked at his angel frowned and said "it was pretty good"
(I think he realized that his gun wasn't as amazing as he thought)

oh yeah btw my team was scrimaging and my friend just bought a new mask and I shot his visor off

gawd, the first time that I took mine to the field, I had the 'noid shimmed, and it would burp. every single time. the airsmith there, while really nice, wouldnt be quiet long enough, or let me see the gun again, to take out the shim. he had to try this, and try that. finally I just took the shim out and it shot fine. Very aggrivating. oh...and I had my eye plugged into its jack backwards, so we were trying to fix that for about an hour and a half :rolleyes:

heh, unless you are really SHORT, I hope that they look up to ya anyway :laugh:

I have used an M3 or Dragun my entire life and my favourite part wuth both my guns was when I opened the box for the first time and try it out.... Five days later they're in a shop for repairs:D . Love the guns always fun to play with.

I have to say my best memory with my TES is having a day where everything worked flawlessly, the paint, the mask, shotting, and luck. I was tagging people like you wouldn't believe. Most asked If I was on a team and asked what kinda gun I had. Pretty cool day. Worst memory. When everything DIdn't work and I threw my baby like a boomerrang about 30 feet out. Of course the gun didn't came back to me. I had to get it... But hey, my baby's still ticking and shooting. but the barrel.. that's done. Gotta get myself a new one.

LOL you talking about throwing your TES reminds me of something that my captain says. "My Angel flys." At first, people tell him, naw....that old LED Angel isn't all that fast. He responds....Piss me off...see how far I can throw it at you! While wearing a big, evil grin.

you ruined a J&J barrel!? to me...thats blasphemy! We're gonna have to shoot you in the balls for that one. So hold um up. I'll be nice, a half bag of 250 count will suffice :laugh: ;)
If you liked your J&J ceramic, you might check into getting one of the new S2 barrels that they just put out. Its pretty much like the ceramic (lined, coated, and everything) but with some slightly different porting, and some SERIOUS new looks.

Edit- rascal- I had made up a response about them showing on the news where two peeps had gotten into a paintball match in a bathroom, over a bad marker deal. but then, I was like..... well.....dont wanna give that kinda image to our sport, so just decided against it.

I wouldn't even think of throwing my gun on the ground. I could just see the tank valve snapping off and the tank spinning all over the place.

I have a J&J on my mag, I dunno if it's a ceramic or not....those new ones look really cool.

My best memory w/ my tes, was when I first used it. I was riping, then poof the o-ring pops out and it starts leaking like mad.

I was ummm........Well i just got my One Kit along with my bro's, and had Anti-siphoned co2 tanks....anywayz, we took my bro's Reloader (old version) and i could shoot ropes
and when my friend saw it, he was like woah, sweet gun.

Bunkering a kid for the first Time
There was these kids showing off how fast there guns were and I stepped up there and shot REAL fast(stock board) and shot about 40shots and stopped. Looked at them and them were just staring at me. I walked away and laughed.

Worst(2)-Always leaking(but finally fixed it)
Going to bunker the last two kids(2on3 match. Them had 3(and they were in the same bunker)and right befor that the one kid that was shooting out of the left side of the bunker(the other kid was just sitting there) said, "Watch out for Bryan(me) on that side" and then I ran up and looked, got shot right in the middle of the lens. then the other kid turned around and started shooting. Then I got hit twice in the leg, once in the back of the head, and once on the bottom part of my harness

was before dragun became dragun and was still m3.

I had an old Lcd Black Dragun.....fastest blowback of its time LOL and the fastest thing under 300 bucks.

I was using it during a practice game cause my AC was being grouchy with me. I shot out 3 of the opposing team and bunkered the last player. This was only the 2nd time i had played with the gun.

when i first got the one i was so excited so i took it over to my friends house to test it out and all he had was co2 so i was like whatevr i took one and pushed the pin down and it didnt go down at all so i thought it was full i screwed it in and shot and nothing happened so we were scrabling to try and figure out what the hell was going on. a day later we finnally figured out that the tank was empty : )
