Slider shorts any good(raven, cobra, dye)? Info(cup)? Where to get them?

I was interested in getting a pair of these and had a few questions(something more comfortable than other protection devices. Do the JT ones have a cup? Have any of you taken a hit with like the raven or cobra ones, is the cup thick enough to do any good? Do you have have them recommend them. What online stores sell them, the raven ones, don't want to pay $50 for the Dye ones? Which would be better between cobra or raven slider shorts? Do they have any other protection besides the cup? Any other info? thanks

DYE's are awesome, so comfy, nice flexy cup, look awesome, got them for christmas, breathable too.
